Coffee Emporium

omg! i get coffee at different places around the iowa city area and this is definitely in my top 3! my friends and i all got lattes and they were perfection. my friend also got the breakfast sammy and it was delicious! highly recommend!

After the anticipated wait for this location to open, last Friday according to google your business was open. Yes! Drove there immediately to find out it was still not open. We tried again this morning and what a disappointment. There was one person in the drive through and one person in front of us. There was no customer service at all. No greeting or smile, nothing. Everyone seemed on edge to one another. I don’t know what was used for our mochas but the syrup was thick and was at the bottom of our cups and it was so bitter. The barista placed the drinks under the menus when they was ready, the menus hang very low, very awkward place to grab items from and the menus seem hazardous.

The Coffee Emporium has awesome coffee, their beans are locally sourced from a supplier in the corridor area, and the staff is wonderful, go check them out if you're looking for a new coffee spot, you won't be disappointed!
