Better Day Cafe

Came in on a Sunday, cafe was around 80% full. Service is very lacking wait staff wouldn’t stop or even look at you had to flag them down for drink refills. Food took over an hour. My wife’s and mine was very good but they completely messed up my sons order, and never came back to the table. He wouldn’t eat it which led to a trip to McDonald’s afterwards. Overall food was good all issues had to do with the waitress which truly ruins the experience.

There was a long wait, but the staff was apologetic and the food was well worth it. The portions were very large, my 15 year old boy ordered an extra ala carte pancake and it was as big as the plate. He said it was the best pancake he ever ate, light and fluffy. My husband was pleased with his omelet, the ham chunks were large and flavorful. My breakfast burrito was amazing...so good. We will definitely return on our next vacation.

Best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. The lumberjack omelette was amazing. Cooked perfectly and loaded with fresh vegetables. They have a homemade hot sauce that is not extremely hot, but so flavorful. The portions were huge. We added a side of bacon and hash browns. The little pancakes that come with the omelette are simple, but delicious. The wait staff are friendly, attentive and fast. The restaurant is total old school dinner and very clean. I would highly recommend this place if you are anywhere near the area.

Very attentive staff, considerate and friendly. We missed the breakfast window, so had sandwiches instead. Well made, tasty and fresh. It is a bit of a step back in time, we would greatly recommend visiting this cafe.

A step back in time. An older building with a feeling of days gone by. Recently reopened after the covid pandemic had temporarily closed its doors. Despite the age of the building, it was clean and the staff was friendly. The food was tasty but brought to the table as it was prepared, so we waited to eat until everyone at our table had been served, so some of the food cooled off while waiting. Generous portions with a reasonable price.

We waited about an hour for our meal to arrive. The staff didn't check in at all, no apologies at all about the wait. The food was sub-par, not worth the wait at all. Didn't even receive some of the items that came with the meal but were still charged for the full meal...better day cafe needs to do a better job.

Had the CBA wrap (chicken, bacon, avocado) with mocha latte. Wrap was amazing, way better.than expected. The latta flavor was busrting. Probably one of the best cafes I've been to. Strongly recommend.

Not enough help. Waiting and waiting for food. The waitress is avoiding us!

Best food in town, hands down! The sandwiches are over the top full of flavor.
