I come here with my kids every other week and ABSOLUTELY love it. All you ladies are fabulous. You're all always smiling, personable, and just all around, inviting. It's always nice to still see people that work retail, or with the public, that are so positive. With all the negative on TV and everywhere else, it's just very refreshing. Thank you ladies and we'll see you in 2 weeks.

Friendly employees and quick service. Love the decorations. Their bars on the counter and some of their ice cream flavors are gluten free. They also have organic tea. I had the hot apple cider. It has a "news room" with a large table and their many awards and news clippings are displayed. I wish I got to see Em! If you would like to support employees with disabilities stop into Em's!

Little gem in the heart of Independence. Excellent coffee, great paninis and yummy baked goods. Do yourself a favor and stop and this lovely locally owned coffee shop.

Amazing coffee shop! My kids loved the HUGE cinnamon roll and mom loved the coffee. We also loved the atmosphere and helpfulness of the employees.

I love this place. My sister and I go every saturday. Great small town environment. And really good drinks. My favorite is the salted caramel fancy mocha.

Great little shop.

This place is awesome. It's very clean, decor is nice. I was honestly expecting it to be way smaller. The caramel latte I had was the second best I've ever drank in my life. The scones are kinda small but delish. The staff are quite friendly. Prices are not higher than you would expect any small coffee shop to be. I will definitely be coming here again if I ever get the chance.
