Swed & Co. Coffee

Best coffee shop around. They roast their own coffee so you can also take a bag home. All of the food options they have offered have been top quality as well.

Clean, vibrant, modern atmosphere. The coffee options included lattes, cappuccinos, and others. Somewhat limited snack and food choices, but the coffee flavors were excellent. Very good quality and service here, they obviously take pride in what they're doing. Nice place to go and enjoy yourself. A welcome addition to the downtown area. Would go back again if in the area.

Mr Swed, is serious about coffee. Warning, you will taste flavors that you did not know were in coffee.
Also keep coming back because the menu evolves. Can’t say enough good about Swed & Co.

Coffee and food are very good. This is a small business offering casual coffee, unique food items (like Grandma's cooking), and reasonable prices. Support it and spread the word!

Nice place with a hip vibe. Small batch coffee roasting, some tasty baked goods & friendly attentive service are pluses. My only negative encounter was with one of the steel pillars. Made a fast turn right into it's unforgiving solidity. Fortunately after taking a moment out front, i was able to enjoy a nice cup of fortified coffee.

This place is great. I ordered the donut burger. They don't it very often but wow, Unbelievable! I've also had the chicken salad and it was quite good. Service is good, prices are reasonable environment is pleasant.
I haven't tried breakfast or coffee yet but I plan on it.

This place is truly a gem. If you like coffee, a fun environment and good food, this place is for you. The staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable about coffee.

Chris spends a good deal of time honing his craft of roasting coffee and it shows. I highly recommend this place.

This place took me quite by surprise! It has a minimalist decor and menu for that matter. Very gourmet and unexpected for our small area. I did find the flavored tea and chicken salad sandwich on a croissant very good!

Literally the best coffee I've ever had in the Midwest.... I was shocked. Like could not believe this place existed, when I walked in it was like walking into another realm compared to all of it's mostly forgotten looking surroundings. Fort Madison has the potential to be an intentional place to visit but Swed & Co will be what started it.

We ordered sandwiches and they were both very good. The servers were friendly and helpful, but it took a while for the sandwiches to be finished.
