I decided to stop here while visiting from out of town and had really high expectations. My sandwich was cold and hard, the latte was not the best and the employees were not friendly:( I purchased a ham and cheese croissant to go after dining in and later noticed it was incorrect and actually chocolate.

Mouth watering mind blowing yummy goodness. My significant other surprised me with a box of pastries yesterday and to say the least it's a pregnant woman's dream come true. Keep up the great baking š

This is by far the best Cafe in all of Des Moines and probably all of Iowa! You will fall in love with the high energy ambiance and the friendly helpful staff always have great recommendations. The pastries are unrivaled with my favorite being their pinwheels which are crispy on the outside but melt in your mouth. They have a fantastic rotating lunch menu as well which features fresh ingredients locally sourced. The drink selection is also on point with delicious apple cider in the fall and a refreshing rosemary lemonade for summer being my two favorite! All in all I cannot say enough about this place it is amazing and I highly recommend going here for dine in or take out.

I like to go there where you can have a friendly conversation or a business discussion. Most of my times there were business breaks. Coffee and bakery options are good for me. Probably good for you, too.

Decent coffee. All served in paper even for in the shop. Limited non dairy options. Served way too hot. Dirty. Hard to park. Bathrooms are clean.
