Great place for coffee and lunch. Fun atmosphere. It's an old bank. Nice people there. I had the Reuben and coffee (light Ethiopian blend). I like getting Reuben if they have it to test a place. Very tasty. Expected flavors for a Reuben. Sometimes with the thousand island and kraut the sandwich can slightly sogify the bread. This was good.
Wife had the gluten free grilled cheese. She loved it. Chips and a dill mmm. We like this place for short date times. Appreciate a spot like this in Czech Village instead of a chain.

Cafe pio is my go to place for coffee. I have been going there since I was in high school and I haven’t stoped. Amazing atmosphere, great baristas and even better coffee. I don’t know what the building was before it was turned into a café but it is dripping with ornate details, from the plaster ceiling, the paintings from wall to wall over, to the window by the bathrooms. I truly love coming here and I recommend it to everyone I meet.

This little coffee shop in the quaint little neighborhood of Czech village is very good. The service was top notch and the coffee was fantastic. We sat outside and drank coffee and chatted while watching the shoppers go by. Highly recommend this place. Have been back several times since and tried many things here, still top 5 favorite place to hang out. The food is very good, especially the goats and bees griller which is an awesome gost cheese grilled cheese with a spicy dipping honey. I have never had a bad experience here, either food, service, or atmosphere.

This place is AMAZING!!! I love coming here after working a long shift, and enjoy their Chicken Italian Melt. Sometimes ordering the Iced Latte when there is time. This place is just super friendly and has a perfect flow of people.

They serve a breakfast as well, avocado toast eggs sausage or bacon was delicious.. Overall this is a very good place to eat breakfast and I would recommend it and come here again. Had a vanilla cappuccino that was amazing! Best coffee I had in Cedar Rapids.
I was not a fan of the chorizo quiche but their Reuben was really good.

I'm not sure why I liked this place so much exactly. I think the chai is good and the atmosphere is nice. It can get pretty busy.
I think I really liked that if I went in when it was dead, the old guy at the front would of been happy to chit chat for a while.

I've lived out of state for a number of years, but going to Cafe Saint Pio when I'm back is one of the things I most look forward to. I've never had a bad coffee or food item. I love sitting by the big window to read for a bit, a great location. The only bummer is over the holidays it seemed like their hours changed a lot, which is fine, but they don't have a instagram they keep up with, so I drove across town on a number of occasions to find they had closed early.
