Coffee and drinks were five stars.Employees are very nice. Very busy! I was really excited to try the Vegan Hash, but disappointed that it was essentially a bowl of spinach with no potatoes or avocados.

I had a great experience in the NewBro Market area trying local favorite Brewhemia. The staff was attentive and the food was served hot and quickly. I tried the Pulled Pork sliders and a cortado. Both elements of my lunch tasted as fantastic as they looked.
I will definitely be trying more of their menu in the trips to come!

Not really sure what all the hype is about when it comes to this place. I've ordered from here a handful of times and its either good (not great) or really bland. The breakfast seems to be a little better than the lunch. I ordered the lunch burrito a while back and it had zero taste. No seasonings at all. My latest attempt was their grilled chicken sandwich. I asked for it without jalapenos. What I received was a chicken sandwich cut in half. On one half, it was piled with jalapenos, on the other half instead of jalapenos...sliced carrots. What?? Sliced carrots? On a grilled chicken sandwich? That definitely wasnt a listed ingredient.

Visiting CR for work and was pleasantly surprised. Really good breakfast bowl and coffee. If I leave a review somewhere, it’s top notch. Check this place out!

One of the best places for coffee and a small meal in Cedar Rapids. It's often packed full of people but it is often worth the wait. Vegan and gluten-free options. Polite and helpful staff. Overall good atmosphere. It can get loud and crowded. The prices are more than fair for the quality of coffee and food.

Excellent food and service. Seating and parking can be hard to find during peak hours. If you want a copy of your receipt you may need to ask for one.

2022:
This has become my favorite breakfast spot and our go-to when guests are in town. Yes, it's noisy and busy; the wait for food on weekends can take up to 30 minutes. However, it's worth the wait. Try breakfast tacos or breakfast bowls made your way with meats or veggies or both. Baked goods are tasty but not 5* worthy. Don't let your hot tea steep too long or it will be bitter: they use 4x more loose leaf tea than us needed. I'm not a latte person, but half-caff Americano and brewed coffees are fine.
They took adequate precautions and communicated well in social media during the worst of Covid and because of that I'd give 6* if I could.
2019:
Beautiful space, plenty of tables and seats at counters. Very young but friendly staff. Busy on the Sunday I was there (twice). Coffee is meh. Cherry coffee cake had about three cherries and was dry.

This place is pretty much my second home. If I'm not at work, you can probably find me enjoying an espresso drink or one of the great sandwiches or breakfast items from the menu. If you're into iced coffee drinks, I recommend trying the Bohemian!

Got the Parmesan encrusted grilled cheese on sourdough and the bohemian cold brew drink. Both were super tasty. Would recommend.
