Great place to have breakfast, clean dining area. Less than a mile away from truck parking.

My daughter and I ate there yesterday. We ordered a tenderloin dinner and an order of onion rings. The tenderloin came with fries. The meal was $8.25 and the order of onion rings $4.59. We figured we would split the sandwich between the two of us. We were so disappointed. The tenderloin was the size of a hamburger from McDonald's and we only got about 8 onion rings. Totally over priced. There was nothing, no lettuce, onions, ketchup, mustard nothing at all. To top off that rip off , they charged me $1.50 to cut that little kiddie meal sandwich in half. Never will I suggest that place but I will tell everyone about it.

Good food and service over all great place to eat.

Food was ok, nothing exceptional. Eggs cooked correctly, potatoes were done but not browned. Service was acceptable but got the feeling if you're not a regular you were more of a burden.

Such a great little hidden gem. The service and food were very good! Looks forward to coming back!

great place to eat while we were in town. prices were reasonable and service was quick.

Don't go in there unless you are white, very poor attitude from waitress, I tip well but she got 4 cents. Just a bad experience. Food was middle of the road mom and pop shop food.

Nothing special food wise, it was decent. I was by far the youngest customer in the place and I'm in my 50's !

My sister just sent me the news from the Carroll Herald that you have closed. I AM SO SAD!!! I travel there to visit my mother and coming to Mac's Cafe is how I begin each day. What will I do without you. Thank you for your hospitality and best coffee anywhere between AZ and IA! PLEASE keep serving the coffee in the new convenience store... the Grog and Mac's Blend. And thank you for the banana bread :)

Loved it! Awesome food and great service. Can't wait to go back!
