Smokey Row Coffee

I love this place….the coffee is great and the atmosphere is perfect for a get together or a date. I’ve been there almost every Saturday morning. A group of guys meet every week for a quick bible study and awesome coffee. The staff is very friendly. Kinda feels like home or a friends house.

Service was prompt, really chill spot. The food was okay, a little bland on the soup and sandwich.

I was excited for the Ankeny Smokey Row location as I've been to several of their other locations with good experiences. This location was a bit of a disappointment. The coffee was subpar, bathrooms were dirty, and most of the tables were a mess as well. The staff was very friendly and kind but I won't be back.

Delicious breakfast! Our typical weekend stop was packed, so we stopped at Smokey Row instead.

This turned out to be a wonderful change of plans. Smokey Row had plenty of seating and a breakfast menu with more options than I'd imagined. The food was ready in a matter of minutes and was absolutely delicious.

We'll be adding this to our list of preferred breakfast stops!

Love the coffee and the people that work here. They always have a smile on their face.

I have never been so impressed with a coffee shop as I am with this one. There roasters reserve Kona blend is the best coffee I have ever had. If that isn't enough to set them apart then the service will. While not everything can run perfect 100% of the time with any business, they will make things right and treat you right. They are small town business owners with tremendous values. Anyone who doesn't use this for there coffee needs is crazy.

Originally gave them 5 stars but the quality has gone down recently. Ordered a hot latte today and it was served semi warm. Had to ask them to heat it up for me which they did.

Best place for a staff meeting!

Interesting how the drive thru worker (on two separate occasions) has a complete personality shift from bubbly and friendly to short and to the point after they awkwardly ask you how much you’d like to tip them at the window and you politely decline. I should add this was before we received our drinks. Which they got wrong.

The actual coffee typically tastes great, but they need a lesson in proper customer service. :/

They’d get more tips with a classic tip jar.

I ordered a cold brew and it tasted like stale grocery store coffee. Ordering their flagship salad was boiled chicken and bacon bits like I give my dog. I wouldn’t really recommend and do not plan to return
