Just as delicious as it was twenty years ago! Used to go here with my Grandma! Just delightful!

Great local bakery. Pastries, donuts, pies, bread, etc. All really good. They also have lunch food. Sandwiches and what not.

Those Dutch letters are a way to a fat girls heart! There are dozens of different types Delectables that you can get from this Bakery. I've had their cakes in the past too, which were mind-blowing moist. The thing that I come for every time, is a Dutch letter! I need an opportunity to meet the owner and thank them for keeping a traditional and authentic recipe alive. I cannot stand their hours of operation though, just an fyi.

They make all of their pastries daily in Boone and drive them to Ames every morning. There is moderate seating, good for laid back conversations or reading a book. I recommend the Creme Bismarck or the Bird's Eye.

Amazing pastries and donuts. I've only been here a couple of times and I have really enjoyed everything I have gotten. I like donuts. Donuts from Hy-Vee don't come close. This is an entirely different experience.

Really great pastries and breakfast croissant sandwiches here. Plus all the staff wear masks, so this place felt safe and tasted great!

This has become a favorite Saturday morning light breakfast for my daughters and I.
Not sure if the prices or the food is better, but both are fantastic!
This is an off the beaten path restaurant you MUST find!

Staff is always friendly and the food is always incredible! The Reuben is literally so amazing I would eat it everyday if I could.

Stopped in at close of the day, on a Saturday, friendly staff, selection was limited but they offered to bring out more for us. Which we declined, so they wouldn't have more stale goods by monday. We will be back, earlier in the day!
