Lockwood Cafe

Small but mighty cafe! This place has great food (although the covid selection is limited to crepes), great drinks, and fantastic service.

I appreciate that they are taking covid seriously. The space they created is also great for kids. Lots of room for the little one to run around, toys to play, things to climb, and even a little gently-used swap area. Fantastic community-focused place.

Fantastic house made lemonade, amazing coffee (house made syrups and Morning Bell beans, milk alternatives available), tasty crepes (all vegetarian, a few vegan options, but the best is that one doesn't miss meat options with balanced combinations). Worth the drive and great addition to the West side of Ames

My kids would give Lockwood a 5 million star review if they could! We love the variety of unique, delicious crepes and tasty drinks, in a really cool setting!

This is a funky place. Crepes and drinks were on point. I got the Shrute and was happy with the bold flavors. The crepes were delicate and delicious. I would come here again.

This cafe is an absolute gem of Ames. I'm in love with their savory potatoe/curry inspired crepe. Also the owner and staff are amazing people.

If you desire a cafe filled with the best of comfort foods and an artsy ambiance, then Lockwood is just the place for you! I love stopping in to get my usual lavender rose lemonade and admire the wonderful artwork adorning the walls. I can’t wait to drop by sometime for one of the art and music events!

Coffee is from Morning Bell, which is absolutely delicious! I've had one crepe so far and cannot wait to come back and try more. Fun and unique atmosphere.

Great crepes and chai. Loved the atmosphere and outdoor seating. Don't forget to bring your extra cans to donate to locals in need.
