I ordered a caprese sandwich. I waited over 20 minutes for a sandwich on sliced bread (not the traditional ciabatta). I asked that the sandwich be remade on ciabatta and only then was I rudely told they were out. I asked for a baguette instead. When I finally got the second sandwich it was missing pesto as well. Disappointing experience from a place I love.
Purdue kids you’re gonna love this place especially if you have a busy schedule they have great options for grab-n-go and you can use your dining dollars on it if you have those I would grab one of their wraps or salads in the morning but they have sandwiches and smoothies I love too!
Au Bon Pain is extremely conveniently located and is just superb in terms of sandwiches, soups, palmiers, coffee and salads! The staff is exemplary in providing a fast checkout. There is a never a long stationary queue here. Great addition to Purdue campus!
Tasty food at a convenient location on campus, but hampered by constant crowding. There's always a huge line and not enough employees, so it takes awhile to get through even if you're just grabbing a salad or bakery item off the shelf. Prices are a little high, buy not unreasonable. If I have the time, I'm happy to stop here for lunch
Great place to get cheap espresso, especially for students. Staff is always super nice, too. One warning, however - if it's between XX:20-XX:40, do NOT go in there. The influx of students just leaving class makes it a really unpleasant place to be (and you'll probably be waiting until 45 after to get your coffee anyway).
Great pastries and coffee. Good variety of sandwiches. Awesome location in WALC in middle of campus. They just need to figure out how to flow people from ordering to waiting to paying more smoothly. There isn't enough room with the coffee island on the middle.
It's on campus, so prices are steep, as you'd expect. And in between classes it's always sardines in there, but beyond that, the food is great. I usually go for a ham and two cheese, as it's got the best price:high calories:taste ratio
Told to open at 10am… wanted to grab a snack before my 10:30. Missing my class cuz they wont open! Very disappointing service. Arranging milk cartons while atleast 25 people are waiting for their only resource of food before class.
Okay this is like the 5th or 6th time that I ordered a good egg with jalapeno bagel and got the default rustic one instead. It is pretty disturbing if you order it for take out and realize this later. The food is good, but the service is sloppy.
I ordered a wrap and it was really cold. Since I have teeth sensitivity I asked someone who seemed to be the manager to warm it up and she refused to do it. Also, the chicken had bones in it. Really bad. I don't recommend this place.
