Great sandwiches and treats, nice cozy casual place to dine.

My wife and I had lunch here. The food was just okay. They have a really large selection of sodas, which was pretty cool. The candy section was really fun to browse. We tried a couple samples which were excellent! Although the candy is really good, I still think it's a little too expensive.

One of my favorite places to go in South Bend! The best thing about it is it's versatility. It's a great place for a coffee date with a friend, lunch with the family, or to stop in for a quick dessert! Of course their chocolate is good, but the coffee is also delicious and I'm never disappointed with their sandwiches. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique place in downtown South Bend.

This is the fourth year in a row that I've stopped in here during the Sunburst marathon. This place is fantastic! I've had their shakes, ice cream, and chocolates and everything is excellent. I tried their coffee this year, a cafe mocha, and it was downright delicious! The staff is always so very friendly and knowledgeable, willing to offer advice. If you're in town I strongly recommend you swing in here for desert at least!

My favorite sandwich is the Cuban. If I want a sandwich, it’s the first thing I look for on a menu. Here, they had a bit of a unique take on it. The jalapeño coleslaw was simply not for me. While the standard ingredients were all very good, there was too much on the sandwich that ultimately made it a somewhat soggy mess. As a more expensive sandwich than nearby competitors, it did not really justify coming back for another one.

Took my best friend from New York here for her last night in town! Want to give a huge shout out to Carter who was the absolute most helpful! He pointed us in the right direction for some tasty late night sweets and also recommend a good pizza place for our next visit! We ended up getting a bag of various chocolates, ice cream, hot chocolate, and cake! We was giggly, annoying, and full of full of questions and he was so friendly, calm, and completely cool! Thanks for a great experience for me and my friend!

Went in for coffee and Herbert greeted me and suggested a croissant breakfast sandwich that was the best i have ever had. He was right on top of things and didnt hesitate to make sure i was taken care of immediately. I will definitely be back because of his great attitude and detail to service. You cant go wrong when you visit make sure you grab a cheesecake slice which he helped me with as well.

I've always loved coming here. The food is good, the coffee is good, the atmosphere is good. There's really nothing more that you need from a café/deli/candy store. One of my favorites is their breakfast bagel sandwiches. Meat, cheese and eggs on whatever bagel you want. Good place to stop if you're by yourself, or with a group. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't already.
Bonus: they have Ben's pretzels.

Love the coffee! I always get an americano and they're great! We got an everything bagel and a cup of sweet pepper soup, today. Soup smells great and the bagel was nice and crispy.

Inconsistent dining experience, but they do have great ice cream and chocolate treats. We come here at least twice a month and sometimes it's great, other times they skimp on the food. For example, a month ago the grilled cheese had ample cheese, but the last 3 visits it was bare minimum and just seemed like two slices of bread. Everything seems overpriced for what it is. They have a nice play area for kids if it's not over-crowded, so that helps compensate for the pricing a bit.
