Oh my... absolutely a must attraction if in South Bend, Indiana.

This place has a quaint yet spacious interior; it feels like it keeps going. The food smelled good and the drinks were absolutely delicious. They have multiple types of mocha and hot chocolate as well as standard coffee drinks as well. The service on the cafe side was much more friendly and attentive than on the restaurant side. That said, I definitely recommend stopping here if you are in the heart of downtown South Bend

Perfect hot chocolate. If not the best I have ever had ✨🍫

Friendly stuff and efficient for takeout. Food quality is hit and miss sometimes but the price point is slightly lower. I got the Reuben sandwich twice and they came out very different. Once it was way too salty and half of roast beef I got last time. Inflation is coming people.

The staff is absolutely fabulous every single time! I love going here. The chocolate covered tart cherries are a crowd pleaser and we often give them as gifts to friends who live out of state.

Great place but you have to catch them when they are not busy -- they get over crowded and under staffed at times. They also close their kitchen early so be aware of that.

My husband and I went to the Chocolate Cafe for our anniversary breakfast. It is a very nice cafe with lots of seating options. We each had muffins that were very good. I ordered a Lake Effect Latte which was totally yummy. The staff was a couple of young ladies who were very sweet. I would love to go back once it warms up so we can enjoy the outdoor seating!

A nice and relaxing place to chill. Fun interesting atmosphere with plenty of nooks cranies and rooms all over to choose from and find what is most comfortable to you. The bagel sandwich is amazing. I get the ham egg and cheddar with onion on Asiago with a Lake Effect coffee. Made with real white chocolate and topped with fresh foamed cream and a cherry.

Parking can sometimes be a hassle finding a street spot open during the 9-5. But there is a parking garage across the street if all else fails. Or at the worst you may need to walk a few blocks.

The chocolate is good, the coffee is good, and the food is fine, it's all a bit overpriced but I understand. It's a small-ish company trying to do bigger things. Their overhead is probably high because they have so many rooms and facilities. It is also possible to go there in the cold for a nice warm place to talk and nobody pressures you to buy anything. I always enjoy going there.
