South Bend Chocolate Cafe

Great little coffee spot, especially for those with a sweet tooth.

The sign for Colombian coffee was misspelled which I found a bit odd, but everything else about this place was great.

Great chocolate everything! They got the standard chocolate sales counter, but they have of course the cafe which has a great selection of coffees and some light amounts of great food! They've got a soda shop attached to the right of the shop, and an ice cream place built into the lounging area of the cafe. It is a glorious place to hang out with a small group of friends.

It's not a trip to South Bend unless you stop by the Chocolate Cafe! They have the best chocolate ever! The sea salt "sea turtles" are so good, no other turtle will ever compare. The sea salt carmels are also amazing. If you like flavored coffees, I recommend the iced sea salt carmel latte - it was delicious! The staff here was also incredibly warm and friendly - we laughed together like old friends! Many thanks for making my vacation to South Bend a sweet one! :)

Fantastic coffee roasted in South Bend. Chocolates are the best. Other sweets and sandwiches and salads are wonderful.

Cozy atmosphere, great for hanging out with friends. Good food :), but the chocolate is pretty expensive.

Sold me stale cake. It literally was as hard as a brick. Cheese cake was also old. The edges were hard. Never agin.

This cafe was absolutely amazing! We are from St.Louis Missouri and here for the reason of my sister being involved in a horrible car accident that she was hit head on and due to her injuries she did not make it. We walked in this cafe and felt the warmth and love that was there! The food and coffee was absolutely amazing and so worth the small trip we made for it. The staff was beyond helpful and wonderful!
I want to express to the staff especially Alanna for all the help and warm words that you share with my family and I. We needed to hear those words so a big thank you to you and everyone there!

First timers beware. Complicated for no reason.
Where you order your food is not were you pay. Where you pay you have to let them know what you ordered (otherwise they have no idea) then to order a coffee or a coffee like drink you need to go to a different counter and order and pay there. The food and coffee were unimpressive.
We also bought some chocolate on our way out, we asked for different types and the girl packed them all in the same paper bag with zero regards of any allergen ingredients.
The chocolates were delicious I'll give them that.

Excellent food, great staff, sometimes free stuff.

We loved the breakfast croissant! The egg and bagels are huge and delicious. The capachinno was perfect. If your looking for a new place for breakfast you won't be disappointed. Also the outside area is nicely designed to relax as is the inside setting. Don't forget the desert for later . Cheesecake and hand dip ice cream cones. We will return for sure soon.
