South Bend Chocolate Cafe

I bring guests here when showing off South Bend. It's a fun place to stop in for dessert and coffee, or for lunch. It has a festive and cozy atmosphere, but still spacious enough so you don't feel too crowded. Not a bad place for studying. It seemed slightly understaffed.

The muffins are good, and the coffee tastes just regular, the prices are too high.

Very friendly customer service, huge selection of amazing desserts, chocolates, novelties, and gifts. Yummy coffee, plenty of space to relax and socialize. Indoor play area for kids. This place has it all!

Used to love going Here. Couldn't order food until after 330. They have eliminated several of their cheesecakes in store. Wish the Ben's pretzels would reopen at this location. Have been told can't keep workers. So there's that...

I was in there Saturday the 12th and heard the manager belittling one of her employees and then called the police on her after firing her. As a customer I will NOT BE BACK TEYESHERE. the way she was yelling at her employee is NOT PROFESSIONAL

The Cherry Hot Chocolate is DELICIOUS. They offer alternate milk options and the hot chocolate was great with almond milk! There’s a ton of variety in seating and there’s options for more privacy or seating for large groups. It’s very cozy and old fashioned and I loved the food and dessert options.

Good variety of chocolates, candies, popcorn etc.

Fun welcoming place to get everything from a sandwich to a beer. Also they have chocolate.

Rather rude staff for sandwiches at lunch. They made us feel by doing their job that we were making them work.
System totally messed up! THEY NEED AN UPGRADE in how the order on a REAL computer system! This would alleviate them from shouting back and forth between cashier and cook to get their order correct. Bad experience. Over rated. Guess if you aren't a regular it's worthless to go!

So many different layers to this place.y wife and I split a coffee and a slice of cheesecake by the fireplace, then played board games later on.
