South Bend Chocolate Cafe

If a golden retriever was a store this would be it. Everything feels so nice here and the food/drinks are good. The people working at the counter are nice and whenever me and the family go they manage to make us laugh somehow.

This place was a lot of fun and our tour guide seemed very good at her job. Unfortunately she did let us know that she was leaving for another job in about a month. I should say that's unfortunate for South Bend chocolate factory. I would highly recommend giving this place a try. It's kind of fun to see the manufacturing side up a business.

Delicious bagel sandwich, great coffee, awesome atmosphere. Will be picking up chocolate as a present on my way out. Grab a spot by the fireplace in the winter!

One of my favorite hang outs in all South Bend, IN! The South Bend Chocolate Cafe not only has unique varieties of coffee and hot chocolates, such as their Cherry Jubilee, but also a wonderful selection of local designer and seasonal chocolate picks. There is also a nice restaurant and kids playground indoors.
This place really adds to downtown SB.

What I like the most about the Chocolate Cafe is the service. They really go out of their way to give you a comfortable experience. I also love the vintage sodas they have here. A bazillion different flavors which is a refreshing change from the choices you will get at the grocery store (yawn). Not only are the chocolate foods fantastic, like the chocolate cheesecake (my favorite) and the ice cream dessert treats, they also have a food court on the other side with the best soups and salads. It's also a nice environment and often you can catch a good live band here on the weekend. Their singers are so good sometimes I thought I was listening to the radio only to find out it was live. Highly recommend. A must stopover for anyone coming through town.

First of all, you have to try their hot lake affect mocha! It comes with a chocolate dipped spoon inside and out favorite way to cheer up rainy days. Their chocolate is devine, my personal favorite is their chocolate covered strawberries at valentine's day

Had a toasted hot chocolate which was tasty! There are samples of chocolates available, o was offered caramel popcorn to try. Took the kids to the play area and they had a blast, one won a toy in the claw machine. Nice and relaxing atmosphere to hang out and talk.

Came in to buy ice cream to go but I wanted to use the restroom first. I kindly asked the employee if they’re restrooms were open but he rudely told me I have to buy something first and they’re not public. I ended up not buying ice cream and went elsewhere . I understand it was the policy but he didn’t have to be rude about it . I just wanted to use the restroom first since I was by myself and didn’t want to take Icecream in the bathroom .
