Knead the Dough

What a wonderful place! We were driving through on our way to pick some meat from a local farm. It was a freezing cold day so we stopped in to warm up with some coffee and delicious baked goods! The woman working was so kind and easy to talk to. She also makes a delicious latte! All the cookies, brownies and pastries we bought were made from scratch and absolutely delicious! Wish we had a Knead the Dough in our town! If you're driving through Lizton do yourself a favor and stop in!

I ordered a big number of cupcakes. They were all suppose to be decorated for easter/spring. Only about 13 were decorated. They were obviously hastily done. They didn't hold up well and the remaining ones just had bright icing with no other decorations. I spent to much money for this work.

Great coffee with some nice seasonal flavors for people who like that. The little place has a bright, pleasant atmosphere, and the people who run it/work there are friendly and clearly enjoy what they're doing. Service is great, and the bakery stuff is delicious. I only review the places I like, and this one definitely deserves a review.

Google prompted me for an update. They also have some milk from a local dairy (Freshly, near Lizton) that'll make you never want to drink the grocery store stuff again. The place is absolutely worth a stop.

This is a wonderful local stop. Donuts, muffins, cupcakes, and coffee. Starbucks has nothing on this place. Oh and the owner, she is wonderful!

Just had the pumpkin chocolate chip muffins. They were pretty good! I recommend.

I’m glad to see this coffee shop arrive in town! The owners are lovely and the coffee is delicious. They had exactly what I needed this morning.
