Truely a unique place and a local treasure, while you wait for your Incredible food or drink to be made fresh for you, you can browse the store area and the selection of multicultural books. With their rotating menu of food from different countries you could come back each month and have a completely different experience! Great place to go if you are looking to support local business!

The ambience is great, the food is great and portion are the right size. You can have fun while waiting for your plate and buy something fresh or local. Last, but not least, the owner is so charming and makes your visit unique, she takes your order and cooks it.

Make a visit to the Bind Cafe, and the book store it shares a space with, for a unique experience! For cafe service don't be afraid to head to the back, check out the menu, and ring the bell for service. The food items are made from scratch and thus the service is slower. During your wait browse around in this community space. The coffee is ground and brewed by the cup. There is a bin for you to clean up your plates and cups before leaving.

Perfect environment, so much variety and culture!! Perfect place to study, have tea/coffee, meet up with friends, and or learn a new language! The owner and family are very kind and give off a good vibe. Wish I would've known about this place sooner!!

Always warm and friendly. Interesting combinations of food from a different country every month. The vegetarian options are so appreciated. Love this unique diverse atmosphere of community and wonderful food!

Incredibly caring and friendly owner, talking to her genuinely makes me want to move to the area. We just stopped in to check the place out, so I can't comment on the coffee but I love her ethical sourcing and it sure smelled good!

The owner, her family, and employees all work incredibly hard to give this place the incredibly warm and inviting vibe that it has. In addition to the delicious food, coffee, and tea, the Bind Cafe is by far one of the city's most charitable organizations.

This is one of the most important places that exists in Kokomo, right now, in my opinion. If you are just concerned with quality and afgordability of food and coffee, that alone is a reason to stop by. The owner makes delicious food and is constantly making special dishes from around the world. The coffee is made fresh in front of you after you order while she chats you up with small talk or important issues, depending on the day.

But the cafe is much more than that. It is a community hub for sharing and archiving the ignored (by the majority) reality of Kokomo's black history, accessing conscious books and black authors that you cant find elsewhere in Kokomo, exchanging languages, hosting events that broaden minds and perspectives, supporting black artists and unapologetically holding space on the square with confidence and pride with a spirit of generosity and welcome. On informal days, you can go and relax and play board games, browse through interesting material or meet new people.

This place should be supported, period. Kokomo needs Bind Cafe.

I had the butter chicken and samosas. The food was really good and the owner was friendly, but the portions were really small. Maybe it was just a bad day. I'll have to try again sometime.

Incredible local gem. International rotating menu and the best coffee in town. Great books and events too. Cultural epicenter. Must visit.
