Definitely a great and spacious place to work and relax in the middle of downtown. Parking was a breeze early morning and I enjoyed my Americano which was absolutely the way I liked it. It was pretty quiet from 7-9 and then started filling in quite quickly.
Quills has an array of spring flavors, baked goods such as muffins and cookies and a variety of coffee beans and apparel to choose from.
The glass panes gives an open vibe and the contemporary furniture gives a very casual and comfortable feel. Quills is dog friendly so overall great place to work out of.

Hidden gem: quills coffee!!! Situated downtown closed to the canal walk river. It is actually in the nine on canal building. Very aesthetic. It also has great graphics and places to study. You may also be able to purchase coffee. The croissant with chocolate were pretty good as well. This place is great for a studying section.

Very little selection. Staff wasn't friendly. My Chai was like a glass of milk with cinnamon. She put so much cinnamon in my drink I had to chew it. I watched her attempt to stir it then gave up and handed it to me. We paid over $10 for 2 tiny drinks. I would find a different coffee shop.

This Indy outpost of one of Kentucky's best roasters continues to live up to expectations in their new space. Several options on batch, espresso, and pour over and an even larger selection of whole beans in bags. Natural Honduran on espresso was good, pour over washed Ethiopian was also good (they're running a Marcos automated system over a Kalita Wave). Picked up bags of Koji processed Colombian and a Guatemalan-grown Gesha that I'm looking forward to trying at home! Cookies from 4Birds bakehouse and pastries from another place that I don't remember the name of round out a solid cafe menu.

I was in Indy briefly and looking for a coffee shop other than Starbucks. Found this quaint place in Indy. Love the relaxed vibe. I had the cold brew with half & half and sugar free vanilla syrup.

Ordered a cappuccino and got a latte. Was told that's how they make cappucinos there. Drink was good for a latte, but very, very wet for a cappuccino. Would recommend not ordering a cappuccino- or letting them know you want it really dry. Flavor was great, tho. Nice and clean. Bus bin was full and needed swapped, but not a big deal. Everyone seated was in conversation and seemed very content.

Excellent coffee, croissants and service. Clean and bright, open-concept tables arrangement. Baristas are always professional and cheerful! Unfortunately the lack of a pastry-warmer toaster-oven, in lieu of their microwave, is very disappointing as you face the choice of a crispy and buttery, room temperature, croissant or a mushy warm one..

Cutest coffee shop downtown with really amazing choices! I go here every time I'm in Indy and also brought my clients here for their engagement session! Perfect little coffee shop with super friendly staff!

Nice spot, great selection, nice staff.
One heads up, it’s very open inside and tables are close. Totally fine for solo working, but maybe wasn’t the best option for a work meeting with a lot of conversing needed.

Cozy atmosphere. Lots of window barstool areas. Many students online. Excellent coffee! The salted bourbon caramel latte was fantastic!
