Hopscotch is a lovely local place with the best coffee and espresso in town. Now they serve beer and are open late. Hoorah!

One note: if you like sweet lattes, be aware that the lavender syrup is really strong.

Delicious latte and custard croissant (hmmmmm custard) plus friendly service at a local establishment. Comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. Love it! ☕🐶 Plus it's dog friendly!💖 I've just gone through and read some of the other reviews. I feel the need to address a couple of points. I'm 58 and no one had treated me poorly because of my age and I'm also bald as a cueball due to chemo, so I'm pretty sure how you look does not effect your service. I look goofy as hell and am greeted professionally and warmly, with a smile. I fear some people go out in public LOOKING for a reason to complain.

Love the coffee and huge deck space. Staff can be pretentious at times, but that's to be expected at a hip coffee shop. I often find the tables to be dirty, but the great coffee and location on the B-Line Trail keeps me coming back!

The patio here and the price point can't be beat in Bloomington. I personally am not a fan of the way they roast their coffee, but also know many who love it. They have full pots of various teas, and offer essentially any method of coffee (French press, chemex, drip, etc etc etc) you want. If it's a nice day though expect it to be busy.

I love coffee and have made it a point to seek out the good stuff wherever I am in the world. Hopscotch Coffee in wee Bloomington, IN is up there with the best of the best of them. They know their stuff but aren’t too geeky with it. They are the best antidote to Starbucks—for those who like the taste of robust, flavorful coffee rather than pedestrian, over roasted coffee swamped by tons of sugar and milk to hide the bitterness of the beans.
The café itself has lots of interesting drinks and noshies, and a relaxing ambiance—even when it’s lousy with students glued to their laptops. 😎

First time visitor, we found this on google while driving north and stopped in. We didn't like the two strong flavored brews, too similar, so got a mocha and latte. But they were out of mocha flavoring so I tried cardamom which I'd nevet seen before and fell in love! It was delicious! Also got a cookie for the road which was good. Ok atmosphere with several big tables and some comfy looking chairs.

Excellent service and drip brew coffee. The barista (I believe Kristen) was extremely nice and when asked for a recommendation, she happily replied with her recommendation of the light roast. I will be returning, both for the service and for how delicious the roast was!

Really great coffee and peaceful environment. Nice place to sit and work. Highly recommend.

Excellent pour over. I had their single origin Guatemala. Really loved the environment of this place. Only swung by to grab some coffee to go, just passing through town. Would love to try it again and spend more time here. Which could also lead to a more thorough review.
