Does not even deserve a one star. Customer service was extremely rude, spilled the drink on my car, blatantly judgmental about who I was based on said drink, and I could barely say half of my order without being interrupted by the staff. The coffee itself though wasn’t bad, but not worth the trouble. Very disappointing.
Tried drive thru at around 4pm. Two cars were ahead of us. Stopped at speaker waited for 3 to 4 min. No greeting...nothing. Said hello, still not a word. Saw a worker taking out the trash with a head set on. Still nothing. Drove through saw a older blonde lady with ponytail at the window sitting there, the two cars were gone.So we knew it was open and not busy. We took our business to Starbucks up the road. I guess I will continue to go to your Mascoutah and Glen Carbon stores and avoid this one if I want Scooters.
Not impressed. $20+ on coffee that doesn't taste like what was ordered. Ordered 2 hot lattes with extra shots, can't taste the coffee at all. Ordered a butterfinger blender only to receive a peanut butter drink of some sort. The person taking orders listed the candy bars, from which I selected the butterfinger. Got to the window and was given a peanut butter crunch or something with oeanut butter. Asked the cashier about the butterfinger because the taste wasn't right was told that butterfinger wasn't an option. I reminded then of the list that had just been given to me, again was told butterfinger was not a candy bar blender option. I guess I just made that order up! I don't like peanut butter, there is a big difference between butterfinger and peanut butter. I'm not pleased and won't be back!
Update! Received the following response from Scooters today. Just know that they are selling "similar" lattes, but calling them by popular names. Bait and Switch!
Hi Kendra!
I'm sorry that you were not happy following your visit to Scooter's. Just to clarify any misunderstanding, our candy bar lattes are created to be similar to popular candy bars and we, as a company, use our own unique names for these drinks. The cashier was correct in stating that your order contained a Peanut Butter Crunch Blender. That is the name for our blender that is similar to a Butterfinger and it does in fact contain real peanut butter and our own special Peanut Butter Crunch Sauce. If a customer orders a Butterfinger, the employee on headset knows which similar candy bar latte you are looking for... that Scooter's offers. Other popular candy bar lattes include our Turtle (similar to a Snicker's bar) and our Galaxy (similar to a Milkyway).
Baristas are super friendly and bubbly! I absolutely love coming in the morning and mid shifts! Now I haven't been for night shifts yet but I heard they are just as amazing!
Did not realise praline coffee was a thing. It is totally a thing. Delicious. Their standard coffee was also quite good and will probably be my go to.
Had great quality of service the handful of times I've visited now.
All said... good coffee, decent prices, being locally owned business, and in biking distance from me--definitely recommend this place.
Ps. Sure, drive-thru can be a bit long. But that's more systemic of car-focused infrastructure vs any fault of the business (urban planning is seriously fascinating subject if interested... see: NotJustBikes and CityNerd on the youtubes). Definitely prefer this place to crossing the bridge into Green Mt esp during peak hours.
Service has been quick and friendly, coffee on point and the breakfast sandwich was really delicious. Will definitely be making this my regular coffee stop.
I love this place! The drinks and food are phenomenal and the service has been excellent!! I love that it's so close to my house! Definitely my new go to!!

somehow managed to make my everyday drink taste different than other scooters then laughed when I wanted them to fix it... I didn't get it fixed
