Coffee Hound Uptown Normal

By far one of my favorite coffee shops in Illinois, let alone the US. I would visit the Downtown Bloomington location during my summer internship at the McClean County History Museum, on winter breaks home from college, and now this summer as my weekend bike ride reward and brief mental escape from Covid. The staffs professionalism during this strange time has been positive. The cafes are hygienic and mask mandatory, which has been responsible and comforting. As my extended stay at home ends, I know I will definitely be dreaming of Coffeehound! PS, Mexican Mocha flavoring is magical.

All the folks there are great. They obviously love chatting with customers. They're cool and relaxed, in contrast to the poor souls who have to report to corporate HQ.

Skip Starbucks around the corner & go to Coffee Hound. My friends & I stayed the weekend at the Marriot. We ate twice at Coffee Hound. They are friendly & served quality food. What they do they do well! Go on Saturday for the amazing amish bread!

I absolutely LOVE this place! Best coffee in all of Illinois. The beans are so freshly roasted and ground to perfection, each time. Try their tea too!

Employee taking orders decided to yell about masks. So we left and went to star bucks. Been to downtown Bloomington a lot but wont be back to either. No mandates and if they choose masks we wont be back ever to either.

Coffee hound is awesome. The staff is wonderful and knowledgeable about coffee and coffee accessories. In addition to got and cold drinks there they sell pastries and whole bean coffee, which they will grind for you. Also, Niko is the man.

I ordered the Tiger Chia and the lady behind me ordered a latte. Her drink came up first and the server mumbled what was made first. I thought it was my tiger Chia, but it was actually her latte. When he found out I accidentally grabbed hers, he was very rude and gave me a mean look. The lady was very nice about it. Don't hire snobby servers. I will not be back.
