Coffee Hound Uptown Normal

Coffee Hound makes really good coffee—probably the best in town. However, the place is all about waiting, waiting, and more waiting with only one register and one person to make the coffee even at the most crowded times. Unfortunately, nobody else seems to complain and that gives the place no initiative to change, but I hope more and more will notice and be vocal about the long wait times in this chain.

Great coffee place. The House Cortado is a must try here.

First time going here and my coffee was fantastic. The barista was very friendly and my coffee came out quickly. I got a hot sugar free vanilla latte with soy milk and really enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend!

Always a favorite when in BloNo! How can you be out of cold brew! Oh well, son bought a hat. Products are very good (when in stock). This is a college town so many locals / students on the laptops. Nice environment. We will return.

Lattes are amazing! Friendly staff I love coming to this place! I recommend a white chocolate mexican mocha latte and their avocado toast

Very good coffee. I'm a mocha fanatic and this one of my top 3 for sure. Got some beans also and it makes some flame coffee. Baked goods are also yummy. It is a little high $ but paying for what you get is especially important these days.

Got a large black coffee and it came out to almost $10. I think the barista was fed up and just didn’t care what she charged me. No big deal when Starbucks and Coffee House are right next to it.

The absolute best local coffee in Bloomington/Normal. They have excellent coffee and small breakfast pastries/biscuits. Management is intentional at hiring a welcoming group of team members that understand service and friendliness. Skip the Starbucks and grab a local favorite!

Went during COVID, great coffee. But I am more impressed by the fact they properly use gloves while handling payment. The cashier swapped out gloves between each customers. Out of all the places I've been to lately, nobody does this (except at medical places). Glad the staff is knowledgeable in safe practices.

It was a nice place for coffee and a quick bite.
