Conscious Cup Coffee Roasters - Libertyville

I am by no means a coffee expert. Though I am an avid coffee enthusiast. My experience reaches to the extent of learning about coffee in an expansive plantation in Costa Rica. Here I tried coffee in all forms, even ate a green coffee fruit. Also side note, found out through that experience that blonde roast actually has the highest concentration of caffeine contrary to popular belief. The "strong" dark roasted coffee is robust in flavor, but the caffeine is essentially lost in the roasting. But I digress. Conscious Cup makes my coffee the way I like them. I like my coffee like my men: intense, full of flavor, strong, with a certain sweetness. Therefore, my go to is the Sweet Honey Bee. Forewarning, the large contains 4 shots of espresso so drink with caution. I can't speak for the rest of the menu as I have found what I like and I'm sticking with it. I've tried some version of the Sweet Honey Bee in other cafes and they have failed in comparison. Besides this great drink, you should also have the egg sandwich with the chipotle sauce. I drool just thinking about it. The staff is friendly, the space clean and inviting. Great for a coffee date, catching up on emails, and maybe reading in a corner. Easily in my top 3 favorite coffee spots in main street Libertyville.

The King Salmon Bagel Sandwich and the Avo-Bacato Bagel sandwich were both delicious as well as the Green Street Smoothie. I appreciated the free refill too! We will be back and we wish you great success!

The food was really good, but it was super busy and we couldn’t find a place to sit. Thankfully the park across the street was lovely, just maybe don’t go during a busy hour when it’s cold or rainy

Strongly suggest using the "Joe" app for your orders. Super convenient, very fast- wife and I always order on the way to the shop and its ready as soon as we get there! Park in the back and they will bring your order out to your car- on top of their awesome service, they have quality ingredients, delicious options, and excellent coffee. A little pricey, but definitely quality food and service.

Update: went here again today and they're usually pretty on point. My order today was $17 and we ordered a muffin, 2 coffees, and a "Bright Spot" sandwich. On the sandwich I requested no cheese which they did, and added a slice of turkey for $1. The final result was 4 it 5 peices of microgreen (theyre already micro, pile them on), 2 thin strips of sweet pepper, the smallest slice of turkey they had, and it was supposed to be a 2 egg scramble but based on the size and weight of the egg in the sandwich I'm pretty sure its 1 or maybe 1.5 max. Just real disappointed in the work that didnt go into this sandwich when it already costs around $6 plus the extra small piece of turkey so $7. I know no matter where you go you pay for the service but I could have made this sandwich exactly how I got it for less than $1. $1.25 if you count the gas and electricity spent on making it, $2 if you add in the wages of the person making it.

Amazing coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Love the atmosphere. No prices listed anywhere and did come out a bit expensive.

I’ve been in all 3 of conscious cup and this is my favorite. The staff is very friendly. The environment is welcoming and spacious so you don’t feel crowded. I ordered a seventh heaven and it was delicious.
