If you ever stop by Leroy, IL... right off I-74, across the road from Love's truck stop.. you'll be in for a real treat!
Jack's Cafe is one of the BEST family restaurants I've been to in a long time! (And I'm a world traveler ☺️ )
I'm not sure which is better, the food or the service and happy atmosphere.
The owner was a kind man and very accommodating. The waitress was young, pretty and all smiles and great energy.
I'm very pleased... You folks made my day and I really appreciate that.
Thanks again.
(P. S.. I usually take the pics BEFORE I eat but I couldn't help it! Veryyy tasty! Notice how they did not cut corners and gave me the FULL portion of beef in my omelette!) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The food was really good! I did like the lasagna! I wish the garlic Parm wings had more sauce but maybe next time I'll get a side of extra sauce. My husband got 1/2 chicken it was well seasoned just like his taste in women! 😅

Awesome mom and pop joint. Good specials good food and good portions. Our family of 5 highly enjoyed our dining experience. Great customer service! Highly recommend this hidden gem if you have never eaten here. Worth the drive too if you are from out of town like we are. Nothing like this in bloomington. We enjoyed the whole dining experience!!

Great people. Good food. Reasonable prices. Interesting owners. Johnie’s Bar is part of the same establishment and carries a decent selection.
I had the catfish special. My wife and I shared some great wings. Salads were fresh and crunchy.
All good, but skip the bread. And I know the little butter containers with the baked potato look cheap, but don’t let that put you off. The potato was perfect and all the food was good.

Bread before dinner. Lasagna & garlic bread excellent. Onion rings excellent. Service excellent. Desserts looked great, but the dinner portions were too large!

First time dining here, and was really impressed! The staff was really nice, the food was delicious, and the diner was really nice! If I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely go there again!!

Decent food. Not made in-house, but decent. Good presentation, great service, very clean, and not too loud. A comfortable dinning experience.

Just a little hole in the wall place with great food, portions, prices and service. A new added favorite spot to our travels.

Well not sure if it was the timing or what. Wasn't impressed with the food or service. The young lady waiting on me did her job well. Well I'll start with the plus, plenty of room! So many seats and great looks to the place. That's about all I got for that. I wasn't impressed with the food at all. Order the biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs and hashbrowns, and an all meat SKILLET. I emphasize skillet cuz there wasn't a skillet. Biscuits and gravy or biscuits and gravy had to add salt and pepper for actual taste, biscuits weren't bad. Not hard to mess up an egg. Can't say much about that. But the hashbrowns seemed under cooked and bland. And the all meat skillet wasn't worth ordering, all the meat was over cooked/dry and burnt. And it was just a pile of meat with tasteless hashbrowns piled on it with a couple eggs on top...not trying to be mean but you will need the salt and pepper if you go here. Told the waiters the skillets weren't any good and she took 20% off the ticket, instead of removing the skillet which I didn't eat..Ya not sure if it was just an off day for the cook, but I don't have any plans to return.
