Brew Coffee Lab

I actually took that cup of whateveritwas back inside and asked for a refund. Horrible. Maybe it's fresher earlier in the day, but I couldn't take more than one sip. Burnt and old and just plain nasty.

Such a good coffee shop! Staff was extremely friendly and helped me pick out the perfect drink. They have a large menu with lots of specialty drinks you can't get anywhere else. You can tell the coffee and ingredients are high-quality, too.

This is a grab-n-go coffee shop since it's located inside the metra station. Hoping they can add some outdoor seating for the summer though! Nonetheless, I'm extremely happy this opened up in downtown Des Plaines.

I ordered 6 custom coffee and boba drinks for take out. The person working was very speedy and confidently finished 6 drinks with perfect accuracy in 15 minutes so I could make it to work on time! Thank you to the great barista who was working all by herself! :) Lavender Latte is my favorite from Brew Coffee Lab and they also make great matcha.

Unfortunately, I had an unpleasant experience with the wait time for my 3 drinks and further complained. Luckily, the owner went out of his way to contact me and make things right later on and ensured that I was satisfied and compensated for my long wait. I have had good experiences with the other location before and hope that this new location is successful as well. This grab-n-go style shop has many drink options that I am sure many people will like.

A nice ambience within the local train station. The coffee was okay. I'll give it one more try. The service was slow, but friendly! Also, interesting food options!

Having such an amazing coffee lounge in the heart of Des Plaines is truly a treat for all downtown residents. The perfect spot to wait for your train, or just get a quick, refreshing drink to go. Amazing spot.
