This is a great gluten free breakfast/brunch place with outdoor seating. The place offers small cake pieces to start before the food you ordered arrives.
We would definitely come back.

My go to spot for brunch in the city! And it’s super close! I dream of their Eggs Benny and have told so many people about them! They are a must try- amazing hollandaise sauce. So sad I’m pregnant and can’t eat then now- but that’s okay they have so many other great options! I like the omelettes (Denver), and the corned beef hash as well. While I do prefer to dine-in, the take-out taste just as great! Cash only- which IMO in 2023 if you can still be cash only that speaks volume of the business, dedicated clientele, food and much more! What a delightful experience! Service was prompt, friendly, helpful, and welcoming. There was a complimentary pastry presented, which was delicious, and a nice touch! The food was well-executed, standard fare, and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience! Also, of great importance, the coffee was really nice. Most breakfast/brunch restaurants lose the fact that coffee is a focal point for many. Tweet presented a nice coffee and kept it coming! Thank-you!

This breakfast and brunch spot was recommended by my Airbnb host. It was a short walk away with the Buttercup park close by. Dave Ramsey would be proud of this spot since it accepts cash only. In this day of mostly cashless society, it hasn't stopped diners from frequenting this place. For a Monday morning, it was busy.

Before being seated, the hostess asked about my dietary restriction. Their menu covered a wide variety like gluten free and vegetarian among others. As I was seated, I was immediately served the complimentary coffee cake. Their iced coffee came with a carafe and tasted like cold brew which I like. I tried the new avocado toast on wheat with salad and fruit. I surely missed reading the parts of the reviews about huge portions. After the coffee cake and fruit, I was starting to feel full then the avocado toast and salad came. Packed the salad and the remaining iced coffee to go.

Visiting Chicago to see some friends and good golly hosh bagosh this place was AMAZING. So vegetarian friendly, super friendly service, clean and comfy atmosphere, and incredible food. If you can only go to one place for food in Chicago...come here. Come. Here.

LOVE this place. Came here for brunch with my mum. Staff was kind, quick, and helpful. We were offered a free baked good when seated. They even had a gluten free treat along with a very friendly gluten free menu. The food was good and fairly priced. They have outdoor and indoor seating with paid and free street parking near by. Definitely recommend!

The wait staff was super friendly, quick and accommodating. I got there at noon but my friend was running late, so i was told to sit at the bar to wait for her while they still took my name. I had their bloody Mary which was pretty decent. I chuckled when I asked for all the spice offered and the bartender warned me it would be "very" spicy. Being Latina, that has a different meaning for me. It had a good kick :)
When my friend finally arrived we were seated within minutes despite it having gotten busier. Our waiter was there right away, and our food came out fast. I had the biscuits and gravy. The only thing preventing this from being 5 stars is that I would have liked a little more sausage in my gravy. I wouldn't have minded waiting a few more minutes to allow the gravy to soak a little into the biscuits either. Having said that, it was still pretty good and my friend enjoyed her eggs Benedict very much. I also love that they immediately serve you small cake slices when they seat you. Today's choice was chocolate chip cake and it was very delicious. I would definitely come back.

Tweet is an amazing place to eat. The food is excellent, the selection is huge, and the staff is friendly and efficient. It is our favorite place to eat when we visit our daughter. It has our highest recommendations.

Lovely place. Went there on Jan 9th for lunch. Our son had made us a big brunch so we shared a dish and paid the extra charge for a shared entree. My husband dropped me off and parked fairly far away so when he got there I gave him a few sips of my coffee as a pick me up. A waitress spoiled the whole experience by saying we had to pay for two coffees. These are huge strong coffees in mugs. I couldn't even finish mine and then just felt so deflated at how this waitress had been monitoring us. It was so, forgive me , oh please forgive me, Bullying Leftist.....controlling.....nasty.
