This was the second time I'd eaten there since working there. I left on good terms and I absolutely love this place. Everyone who works here is a gem & the food is always so good, so filling and they are so accommodating. I had my little one with me and they couldn't have been more helpful with stuff to help keep her entertained (which never works but that's not their fault. That's a toddler for ya). Excellent for brunch or lunch & the bar next door is a must visit for after hours! Love Chicago. Love Tweet.

This place exceeded any expectation I had for a restaurant. The food alone was phenomenal BUT the special touches they put towards care and service was exceptional. A lot of places snub babies and young children but this place made it so easy for us to sit through a meal with our infant son. They had brought out a bowl of cut up bananas for him and a bin of board books and toys to keep him occupied and happy. The corned beef hash was the best I’ve ever had! Thank you, Tweet for the amazing food and experience we’ve had while dining with you.

Used to come here when I lived in the area and it hasn't changed a bit. One of the best brunch spots in Chicago. Their drinks are always good. I love their breakfast burritos and corned beef hash but I've never been disappointed with any choice. Make sure to bring money because it's CASH ONLY but they do have a ATM available.

Intimate brunch spot with fantastic Bloody Mary's and a great gluten-free menu. Have been here many times and never been disappointed. Be aware they request a 1.5 hour max time at a table during their busiest hours, as it's a popular neighborhood spot. A true Uptown jewel!

Never had a bad meal here. The Havarti omelette is very good and the Eggs & Corned beef hash is tremendous. The hash is homemade, wish just the right size bits of meat, peppers and onions. Service has always been good but was even better on the recent Thursday morning visit.

Went for a friend's birthday brunch. They were able to seat our party of 12 and Rex was the best! We went to the bar before and after and everyone was amazing. Friendly place, excellent food. We were even served Malort shots by the owner! Best brunch in a long time.

First I'd like to mention our server he was very kind and I'm sorry, I don't recall his name However I work as a server also at Lou Malnati's pizzeria and he was just making sure things we all good and made sure we were well-taken care of Thank you we had a party of 9 people my brother sister-in-law and my nephews I haven't seen them in 7 years, so they were in on a short visit for work-related, so I recommend tweet for breakfast I loved them so much I'm sad to say they have changed quite a bit and not for the better. So we waited an hour for our table and we were in no rush so my sister-in-law and I were going to chat and enjoy seeing one another and have a few Bloody Marys our server was quite busy, so I went to the bar and got 2 more Bloody Mary's on my way to the bar the Manger said oh well how much longer are you all going to be you already been here an hour and by that time we'd only been there maybe 45-50mins so I replied to the very rude man and told him, that is not Proper Restaurant Etiquette and to be quite honest it was outright RUDE! The food was ok nothing to brag about as I had biscuits and gravy with 2 scrambled eggs which I didn't get until I was almost done. Wow lol 😆

I have eaten here a few times & every single time I’ve been so pleased; if I could give more stars I would!
In January I dined in house & Rex was my sever. The cheese omelette combo was delicious & Rex was SO entertaining.
Today we had carry out. Steak burrito for my son, PUMPKIN pancakes for myself. Server who took my order (not sure of his name) was so kind & helpful.
I cannot wait to get back!

Absolutely amazing. The service was excellent, the food was outstanding, and the enviornment was overall really great. The breakfast burritos are a must try. Loved it!

A friend and I chose Tweet for a catch-up session and advice givings for the busy-bumpy times life throws at you. Whilst ( I love that word ) we discussed some seriously important things, our impromptu brunch definitely definitely gave us a great replenishment of physical fortitude and was also a great emotional support and comfort.

Our coffee was always poured at the perfect moment (the servers must be living in the flow, the harmony and timing of their visits is always superb). I can't recall what my friend had, but I enjoyed one of the best plates of french toast I have ever had in my life; it was deliciously hot as was the syrup which complimented the coolness of the whipped butter (french toast only ever deserves whipped butter, NEVR slabs. )

I opted for a side of sweet bacon which I had suddenly found an obsession for. It was perfect, my friend kept commenting on what a great assembly nutrition and deliciousness can make when done with awareness and love. We definitely felt that sense that the chefs and staff there really love their clients. With our need for food fully satisfied, pleasant exchanges with staff and other patrons and also enough privacy to have personal conversation, you can easily see why Tweet will be around for a very long time.
