The Wormhole Coffee

I had a disappointing experience yesterday when I went for the first time. I asked specifically if they had Colombian coffee and they said yes, I ordered one and went to wait for it by the bar. Then I see the barista pour some coffee beans from the bag saying “Guatemala” into the coffee grinder.
I thought ok, it may not be mine (I never saw her grabbing a Colombian coffee bag) I was looking at her all the time because I was kind of curious about how they made the coffee since it was my first time. Anyway, after the coffee was done she handed it to me saying that was my order.
I was speechless of how she lied to me and how I had to pay for something that I didn’t get
Sadly I had to experience that in my first visit there

Excellent coffee with a great vibe for us nostalgia-obsessed 80's-90's kids. Impressed with the Covid layout changes. Great staff, fast service.

Highly recommend this exceptional coffee shop. It's very comfy and I love the nerdy decorations, and most important they make a very good cup of coffee. Great place to hang out.

Passing through town and this shop came highly recommended by a local. Love the nostalgia in here! I had to get a drink I've never seen offered (kupa troopa) and my boyfriend got a cortado. The barista remade the cortado because he himself wasn't happy with his first attempt. They pay attention to the details here! Great little spot!!

The coffee, the atmosphere, the vibe, the service, and the coffee!!! This is one of my favorite spots in all of Chicago and I have been to all of the great coffee spots here. I may be more partial due to the 80's themed decor, but the coffee is what keeps bringing me back when I am in town.

Absolutely LOVED this spot. The people. The attention. The 80s ambience (music and decor). And the cappuccino. It's the whole package and it's reasonably priced too.

This place serves awesome coffee & creative teas but in the most sanitary way. They have the hippest Batista team who cares greatly for their clients food & beverage safety. Our company, Sanitized On Safety, enjoys being a part of their Food Safety Culture!

Great experience! The staff were friendly and actually got my name right :) They made me the wrong tea, but were very apologetic and offered to re-make it immediately. The decor is very retro and there was a N64 (?) game set up in the back. I sat near the front window with pouring rain outside and it was just a wonderful atmosphere.

They have very nice coffee drinks, staffs are very smart in handling customers, the place is so unique for chilling.
