Nice staff, straightforward layout, good coffee and pastries from West Town Bakery. Bagel w/ cream cheese was $3.50 and I had to toast it myself (they have a toaster by the cream, sugar, water, etc), but not a huge deal. They don’t appear to have sandwiches or food besides croissants (including some with stuff inside), doughnuts, bagels, cookies, etc. 10 or so tables that are good for getting work done (they’re larger than the tiny ones at some coffee shops). Small qualm: no normal-height chairs. Only pews/benches, little stools, and high-top chairs for the bar. One cool thing that’s small but nice: tax is included, so the price you see is what you pay, and it’s broken out on your receipt. Free WiFi but it’s only so-so.

Not sure whether it’s officially a nonprofit org, but they have a cool mission and also operate a great coffee shop, so I’m happy to come here vs the plethora of options in LS area.

Delicious coffee and baked goods! Also all proceeds go to Hope For The Day, the charity that helps people with mental health issues. Overall really great place!

Sip your coffee and help change a life! Sip of Hope has to be in my top 5 coffee places in Chicago! Their spicy mocha is a thing of wonders! It's not the closest coffee shop to me and I travel 4 miles (in the city, that's A LOT) to get it along with a Dark Matter donut!

I absolutely love this place! Everyone is extremely nice, and welcoming. The atmosphere is quiet and chill, and I love the music. Try the dark chocolate mocha and a donut! They're delicious!

Always welcoming & great coffee too

Spacious, suitable and comfortable for working locally on your device, many outlets for charging your device. Limited menu but delicious. I personally love their spicy mocha, my mom loves the chai tea. In terms of food there are donors, cookies, and bagels until they sell out. Great music playing in the background.

As a long time resident of Logan Square, Sip of Hope felt like a safe and welcoming space. The pricing is affordable. The mission is inspiring. Support this great coffee bar.

Very nice staff, comfortable amount of space. The espresso was good, a nice roast. The code is all dark matter; they were serving thew house roast. It was tasty and nice to sip on

Cannot day enough great things about SOH!!! Go here, get coffee, bring a friend having a hard time. The vibe & energy are amazing. The cause is even more amazing. Good coffee & yummy treats! & cute merch & some free too! Parking is a little tricky, just a heads up.

Love the brew but most importantly love the meaning behind this coffee bar and what it stands for.
