I was walking home from a friends house and decided to stop in, so glad I did! The employees were very friendly and recommended an amazing specialty drink. Love the overall vibe of the place (seating, music, decor, etc) and its message. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

I love this place. The coffee is excellent, atmosphere calm and friendly. The people are truly helpful, welcoming, kind... and you simply can't find a Cafe with a more important mission.

The mission alone is worth a visit. I love the vibe here - which is very warm and inviting. The people baristas seem very engaged in their work and cause and are very approachable! Nice tables to work at too - a counter/bar to sit and relax and strike up a conversation too.

Love the cause, the coffee was good, and the space is beautiful.

Tried an iced latte, which was good but a bit on the bitter side if that's not your taste, I enjoyed it though. Also tried the Lake Effect, which is an earl Grey tea latte. It was delicious.

I'd like to see the place succeed, so I'll definitely be back despite the fact it's not super close to me.

Good vibes, great coffee and pastries, and an awesome mission. I love it here.

I love it. It's a great new coffee house in Logan square. What really separates it from the other cafes though is the fact that it's a non profit and all the proceeds go to suicide prevention. Great decor on top of that as well as the unheard of refills on Americano coffee.

Michael Nagel

Nice place! Had a darn good muffin! I got a large americano with a splash of almond milk. I thought the drink tasted good but it did taste a tad weak. Will try em again!

Sip of Hope combines the best coffee in Chicago (Dark Matter) with an unquestionably positive mission (mental health awareness). To top it off, the service is always friendly and the atmosphere welcoming. Can't go wrong.

The “elixir of the gods” may be the best coffee in the city. It’s magic in a glass. The staff is kind, the wristbands are free and an excellent reminder to press on and have hope. Great place to get a haircut next door. Really tight fades.
It’s a wonderful place if you’re an introvert, you’re still welcome! A judgement free spot with great vibes and a cool water dispenser. They also have helpful fliers and event notices for other similar support groups and organizations. Go check it out!
And the dark matter coffee game is siiiiick

Shelly

Great cause, great vibes, plenty of seating, excellent art work in the bathroom and back walls, and obviously delicious coffee. The wifi didn't work when I first arrived, but I let it keep trying to connect and it finally did after about 20 minutes. No problems with the connection after that. A wonderful place to get work done. Will be back.
