I really wanted to love this place, as it's super convenient , and prime location. I just couldn't get there. I've tried it multiple times, and it just feels mediocre to me. In my opinion it's fine, but I'd rather go a bit further for a better coffee.
Their coffee isn't the best in the neighborhood but the vibe and the space is great! They have solid sandwiches and the Nutella Mocha is enough reason to try it out. The food is a little pricey in my opinion.
Walked in and cashier did not greet my husband and I. Instead, he continued counting his cash to close out his day. He not once asked if we wanted anything else. I understand he probably wanted to leave, however customer service should always be a priority. He might need to be retrained in what true customer service means.
One of the truest "college coffee shop" experiences in Logan Square. Funky atmosphere, lots of places to sit (and a nice outdoor patio in the summer). Good nibbles and coffee - just a neat place to hang out.
This is a nice open space cafe where you can grab a good hot chocolate (I'm not a coffee guy) and lounge around for a bit. They have comfy chairs and sofas for those who want to relax and and read for a bit or jump on the free wifi and do all their e-stuff. Staff is very polite. I will certainly be coming back soon.
I've always thought their coffee tastes suspiciously like soy sauce. But that's what I'm looking for in the quagmire of confusion that Logan Square has become. If you like getting woke scolded and snubbed for asking about their esoteric menu items, New Wave Coffee is the place to go.
Colorful coffeeshop enhanced with vintage album covers, this corner hangout, while not necessarily amazing, is necessary. I can't say the same for the actual coffee, which is middling, or the food that often emits burnt scents. Servers are friendly, though, and that's a good place to start.
Great location right next to the CTA Blue Line. Fast sandwiches that taste amazing. I had a dark roast coffee and it was just ok. Plenty of seating with lots of variety if you're there to study by yourself at a table, sit in comfy furniture with friends or just sit all around a a table or two. Great place to bring your Mac and get your "hip" on :)
Cool, hipster spot for coffee and tea. Not the comfiest cafe to sit and do work, and have a small selection of tea. But overall cool vibes, and they have a printer if you need to print stuff out.
