Great shop to work out of, ordered a matcha with coconut:)

Nice staff but the coffee and cookie were horribly overpriced... My latte truly had grains of sugar in it and was like 9 dollars :/

I drive from River North for their feta cheese pastries! Amazing! Their coffee is great and the baristas are super friendly. Also... dog treats! Really cool place.

A true gem in Lakeview... great coffee, sandwiches and pastries served up in a comfortable space that also showcases local artists. Support this local business, the neighborhood would be poorer without it!

Community based oasis! Walls covered in art by local artists, an owner who will stop to chat with you, CBD additions to delicious coffee, and the best open faced vegetarian sandwich I’ve had. This is the place every community needs!

Lovely little shop, with the best peppermint mocha in town (and I've tried a ton)

Hands down, the best coffee I've had in Chicago. Neat little space with great food options. A really nice family run business - please support (try instead of the starbucks across the street sometime).

Rarely one to write reviews. Mostly because review threads are the sounding board for the unhappy. But, these words have been earned. The experience at Doppio not only met expectations but exceeded them, greatly.

The lattes are bold with a well balanced flavor (try it with oat milk). Biting into the Pomidoro Fresco, one of seven signature open faced sandwhichs, was a moment of discovery. The sandwich topped with tart stewed cherry tomatoes, EVOO, and a dreamy mix of ricotta & mozzarella is the combined effort of Murat and wife (didnt catch her name, sorry). Carbs aside, Doppio is a thoughtful and friendly neighborhood cafe that is worth a detour.

Go for the dark roast coffee, stay and dance away those jitters to the Berlin house tracks playing overhead.

Lightening does indeed strike twice. Since my previous review the world has obviously changed in a dramatic way. It is nice to see that this establishment has weathered the storm and continued to serve up great food. Today I tried Murat & Co newest delight, an open faced twist on the classic lox sandwich. Messy to eat, but o so worth it.

Cute place with friendly owners who clearly care a lot abt the coffee they serve.
