Doppio Coffee House

The espresso here is superb. Dark, full-bodied, perfectly pulled. I also enjoyed the ENORMOUS gluten free oatmeal bar. I only remembered to take a photo after I'd eaten half of it. Check it out! Truly generous proportions.

This was my first visit and i will def be back. A beautifully maintained, unassuming neighborhood spot.

The best thing about this place is the customer service. Mitch welcomed me in with open arms and asked me about moving to the city. He was so so friendly and so was the rest of the staff! Also the coffee choices are sooo many and it was so yummy! I get a sugar-free iced latte from Starbucks, and it was basically the same but it was nice to support a smaller business. The coffee was a bit pricey, but I loved the experience and will definitely be coming again!

Great coffee spot with some awesome food options as well. There’s not much seating, so getting a table is pretty lucky. I think it’s pretty known for being a good spot.

This place is one of the most delightfully delicious and darling coffee shops! I went with my husband and I instantly fell in loooovvveeeee. The shop itself was so toasty and cozy, to where it felt like there was a fireplace in the seating area, but nope! The coffee is yummy and comes in these huge mugs that are perfect for warming up your hands (not too hot) on a cold wintery day. The owner of the place is also one of the sweetest and most down to earth people I have ever met. Oh, and as a huge bonus... their open faced sandwiches taste like home in the Mediterranean! I recommended the eggplant with sweet peppers. 🤤 We will definitely be back!!

Honestly I just stopped here on a whim because my baby was fussing and i needed somewhere nearby to feed him. But man am I glad we did! The staff was so nice (they delivered my order to me when they saw I couldn’t get up) and the avocado toast blew me away!!! Highly recommend! I’ll be coming back

Excellent coffee, pastries and food!!! The owners and staff are extremely accommodating and it makes you never want to go to a main stream coffee shop ever again. You need to try this place!!

The only thing I regret is not being able to give it more stars than 5. What a beautiful place! The presentation, coffee, Ancient Grain platter loved it all. Wish it were everywhere in the States. Please keep it up and good luck for future. Any time I’m visiting Chicago again, I know where to go for coffee and breakfast.

I’ve been anxiously awaiting for this local coffee shop to open, and it’s well-worth the wait! I appreciated the no frills coffee menu and all open faced sandwiches look delicious. I had the Pomidoro Fresco, and I can’t wait to go back to try more. I overheard they roast their beans in-house, and you can add CBD oil to any drink. The atmosphere is simple and the service is attentive and extremely friendly!

Great place to come and do work! The staff was super friendly & helpful with recommendations. I’m super excited to come back! Also the open faced sandwich was SO good. Great lunch, light but very filling. Can’t wait to try more of the sandwiches!

One of my favorite coffee shops in Chicago. Such nice people everytime I go in. Always a warm welcome and not to mention the coffee is so good.
