Backlot Coffee

Great place for coffee. I enjoyed their esoteric coffee and loved it. The coffee had tones of rose and other spices.

I was treated to this place this day, so I am not sure how much was spent here for the two coffees we enjoyed.

Simply everything you want in a local coffee shop. Friendly staff, tasty pastries/treats, and amazing coffee/espresso. Not pretentious at all. Bonus is the solid wi-fi. Price point is a little higher than a Starbucks, but it's worth it. We come about three times a week.

Been going here since 2018 after looking for around Portage Park/Old Irving Park for a good coffee joint. I've tried other coffee joints like Finom and Percolator, but their coffees just didn't do it for me. Either too acidic or fruity. Backlot's is right on point. Fair prices too, especially for cappuccinos!

Very good coffee. Very smooth. Well brewed. Outstanding cortado. And they have Oatly as a milk alternative which, honestly, only makes the espresso-milk drinks better. Skilled and friendly baristas. Definitely check this place out if you are in the area.

Fantastic coffee and even better staff! Their menu has classic coffee treats and some specialty things I've never seen before--and it updates seasonally! Even better, all the staff is friendly and easy to talk to, it's like having a friend make your coffee.

Great place! I'm not a big coffee drinker, but I really like their coffee. The staff are extremely nice and friendly. I love the artwork they have. A friend and I who are co-authoring a book together spent a writing session there yesterday. It's a PERFECT place for it! There were lots of power outlets to plug into, andthe wifi performance was great. Plus, I tried a couple of their pastries, which were delicious. Also love their enviro-friendliness: biodegradable straws, composting, etc.

I ordered the iced oatmeal cookie latte and it was so good! Really good coffee😍

Nice place my family gets it on St Patrick's day, Fathers day, and mothers day but sometimes just for fun. It is kid friendly, Has milk and coco milk and donuts!

First time in the shop today and they were playing the new Florence album. 1000/10

I had their iced mocha and a maple chai donut. 😋

Always consistently good coffee, espresso and good selection of baked goods. My go to is black cold brew and the overnight oats.
