Great local spot, always quick even on busy mornings. Coffee is high quality but the staff is not pretentious about it (unless you want to get into it). They're all super friendly and know and care about their regulars.

Cool little space to sit down and write some notes, read, or just hang out.

Backlot Coffee, definitely one of the best coffee shops in Chicago. The location is very close to highway 90. Parking is kinda hard, however street parking is available. I wish the working hours were until 8pm on weekdays instead of 6pm. Would visit again. Loved their espresso. ☕👌😍

Came here one day before hopping on the train and I’ve been coming back ever since. My new favorite spot for a latte, I rave about it to all of my friends and bring as many new people here when possible. I love supporting small local businesses especially when their coffee is this great. They also offer oat milk, which is a bit hard to find coffee shops that do, so I definitely recommend ordering it with your coffee if you’re looking for a good alternative to milk! Staff is also super friendly and very welcoming.

Coffee and tea selection are excellent. My big disappointment is with the seating which is industrial, uncomfortable, awkward and crowded. This is a pick up and go sort of place, not somewhere to sit and enjoy a beverage, conversation or get some work done.

I'm so glad I found this place, and can't wait to visit again! This was a last-minute find while driving through Chicago and searching Coffeeshops along my route in Google Maps. Such a quick stop off the highway and great coffee. Donuts are wonderful as well, so there is some real talent here in making/sourcing great stuff.

Love this place. Coffee is amazing. New seating areas are so cute. My husband is GF so we go for gluten free donuts on the weekend. They are amazing.

I think when you have someone that serves you it is great to see them face them smile and face how they serve you when they serve you to make you feel warm If you don't see smile it feels like a cold place But they have a great coffee great pastry thank you guys
