Nice, friendly little place with coffee and homemade ice cream. Just wish they offered more flavors. I really enjoyed the Blueberry ice cream.

Cute little place with delicious ice cream in downtown Algonquin. Nice owners and good selection of flavors - their Cookies 'n Cream is truly the best I've ever had!! There's an outdoor patio and bench seating inside. They have a shelf of games, too. Will definitely be back soon!!

Every time I have been to riverbottom I have been impressed. They have some of the best traditional ice-cream around! I also had a friend who is vegan come with me there and they had vegan icecream which she said was amazing! Love that they offer that there! They have games there, a nice deck, and it's just a great place to go! Can't wait to head back there this summer...ok who am I kidding, I can't wait to get some icecream from there ASAP!

Charming ice cream (and coffee) establishment in downtown Algonquin. The blueberry ice cream was my favorite: it was very creamy and flavorful, and it even had whole blueberries in it. The dreamsicle was exactly as advertised. The mango was also very good. Riverbottom's ice cream makes a great after-dinner treat for when you done at Cucina Bella kitty-corner across the street.

The best chocolate ice cream around!! Not too sweet, almost like a dark chocolate made ice cream. Owners are super nice, love that they're family owned so we can support local!

Cozy, rustic, atmosphere. Very clean. Delicious homemade ice cream. Unique offerings, like the "Riverbottom Coffee Float". Kids 4 and under get a free 5 oz cup of ice cream. Just off the Prairie Path bicycle trail.

Great homemade ice cream. Great service . Thy just need to advertise that they have chocolate and vanilla more clearly as they're hidden in back cooler. Also they need to have sundaes on the menu . Who ever heard of an ice cream place with no sundaes? The owner said they d make one if you ask but they need to include on the menu . Malts are great too. Also rather than premade Otis Spunkmeyer cookies thru should make their own.

I feel like this place is the new heart of downtown Algonquin. An amazing hang out during the summer, their offerings are all delicious. High quality ice cream and coffee at a reasonable price. The place oozes with charm. Try the affogato, you won't be disappointed.
