Stopped at this awesomely named Cafe while out in Idaho on a ski trip. We had a mega breakfast. Elvis French toast, cowboy bowls, huge egg and ham grilled sandwiches, and do not forget the biscuits and gravy. It tasted great and loaded us up to ski all day long. Everything is better with Butter!

Coming from NYC and visiting the national parks, Butter’s breakfast is well with the 2100+ mile journey in itself! The restaurant was busy and the staffs work hard to make sure everyone is taken care of. Highly recommend the cowboy bowl, home made blueberry muffin and their drip coffee (it’s $5 a cup for coffee like Butters back in Upper West Side!). Every bite of their breakfast tasted like home away from home! Will revisit when I get to come back to Victor again next time.

Ladies are really nice. We had a good experience. The food was great. My son loved his Mac and Cheese. The grilled cheese and Philly were really good as well. The soup is made in house. Coke comes in a cool glass bottle. You can keep the bottle to bring home. I brought mine home.
We will be back to try out breakfast next time.

The food is super delicious (5 stars) and we would love to go back. However we had a bad experience the first time. We were told it would be a 30 minute wait which was fine, they took our names (it was just the two of us) and we were willing to wait, but then almost an hour later no one had called our name, so we went inside to ask. They told us that they were no longer seating people, what?!!? So we had waited for nothing and no one bothered to come out and inform us of this news. So we asked them why they took our names in the first place, and make us wait so long only to turn us away. They argued that the kitchen really needed a break.... At this point we were quite upset and rightly so. Especially since we had driven over the pass to eat here. Thankfully another server, (perhaps the supervisor/manager?) overheard the conversation and she was nice enough to figure it out and seat us. I'm all for supporting local businesses, and I realize there's a shortage of staff (I am 1 of 2 people left in my entire department at my own workplace, so I know all about it), but don't act all sketchy and make excuses to turn people away AFTER you've taken their names and made them wait so long. That isn't good business ethics. Hopefully this was just a one off thing. Because we have loved their other eatery "Streetfood" since they first opened, and we hope to go to Butter a few more times before we move away.

I ordered that ham+hash brown+egg+veg… thing. Forgot the name. It was delicious. I mean it fit to my Asian stomach. Drop one star because they have a weird policy.
We wanted to sit outside (cuz we have a 🐶) but they said they are too busy to serve people outside, which is fine. We then ordered as Togo. They charged us for extra 22%…. No reason explain. Makes me feel like this is “it’s our punishment for people who does not accept our indoor service.” lol. Anyway, this definitely a good place for breakfast/brunch.

Warm and inviting atmosphere with very friendly service. I had an excellent, thick slice of warm carrot bread and hot cup of coffee on a slightly chilly day. Highly recommended!

Amazing friendly service, amazing food. We ordered the Italian Egg Sandwich and the Chiliquiles. Their cinnamon rolls are spectacular

Absolutely delicious. We had Cowboy bowl and Al pastor hash. Cocktails are also on point. My chef wife has flagged this as a must have anytime we pass through. Easily worth a bit of wait. Sit and enjoy the place!!!!

I meant to give a review after we ate on our RV trip but the Chilaquiles were the best I’ve had. Super nice staff and when I was craving spice and flavor being from Texas, they provided both exceptionally well. The rest of the family loved the pancakes as well. Great experience!
