My partner and I have eaten here twice, under two different owners. We will never eat here again, nor will we encourage anyone to eat here. The waitress we dealt with was awful. She was forgetful, inattentive, and rude. We had to flag her down twice, the second time she made a different waitress, who was fantastic and had a great attitude, deal with us and cash us out. I ordered chicken Alfredo. I got under cooked chicken, in watery creamy sauce. The menu was not clearly detailed so my partner was unclear as to what he was ordering. The kitchen staff were loud and vulgar and could be heard from the dining room. As a team, as a restaurant, do better.

I've been going there for years even before I moved into sandpoint.I like the diner feel the food and the staff. I am now changing my rating from 5 stars to 2.About 7 months ago I ordered breakfast and the potatoes came out very burned ,I ate what I could and left and then wrote a message to them explaining the problem. The manager got back to me and promised to make it right but not knowing if the same cook still works there I didn't return.I miss going there but having a hard time getting past the cook putting out burned food is ok and wonder what else is ok to him. I'm writing because a noticed I had 51 views and giving a rave review then and not mentioning my last experience wouldn't be fair to the people reading it. I guess we will see what happens in the future to see if I go back . Ok I started going back with no problems recently. 01-10-2023

Nonexistent service on a Sunday morning... The food was good: corned beef just like my mom used to make it and my wife enjoyed her Belgian waffle. Unfortunately, I got to 'enjoy' my breakfast with no coffee refill and a waitress that always looked the other way, specifically toward her larger parties. Better service is available at any other breakfast eatery in/around town. Connie's seems to be leaning on the automatic business from the hotel, which is right next door...

Really nice menu. Food was awesome. Nice outdoor seating. Super friendly bartender /waitress.

Ordered a ranch burger and I thoroughly enjoyed it. One problem, they forgot to give me any ranch. The fries were rather tasty too.

Food was delicious. Service was slow from start to finish. To be fair, I know employees are hard to find and keep right now, particularly in the hospitality business. Also, we were seated right under an a/c vent blowing very cold air on us most of our meal. We were finally able to catch someone's eye and she resolved the issue. We generally like everything about Connie's, so today may have just been an "off" day.
