Way better than I expected (don’t judge a book by it's cover). Both family friendly and adult friendly. We will definitely come back.

Connie's is that small home town feel, with folks that meet you with a smile and great service every single time , no matter who serves you , and the atmosphere and laughter is a wonderful thing. Connie's will always be a favorite in Bonners County !!! And a fantastic plate of food every time !

Overall:
The food tastes good. I'm vegan and there are only two breakfast options here and none are on the menu. The price is astronomical for casual dining and the quantity did not leave me satisfied. The waitresses I've had here are extremely friendly and attentive.

Food & Price:
I order 2 sides of hashbrown and grilled "breakfast vegetables". The flavor was great the quantity was meager. The cost was $14.05. The hashbrown for $6.50 was fine but I was very disappointed in the grilled vegetables. I got about a half a cup of vegetables and charged $6.75 to add them on. So I'm obviously not pleased on the portion sizesize for the price. Of course I still tipped, so it cost abut $16 for some hashbrown. I could have eaten 2x as much.

So for a second chance, my wife got oatmeal and that cost $12.99+tip. The menu says it's $7.75, but if you add fruit on top it's $4.50 for some 6 banana slices, a few blueberries, and one strawberry cut up.

I think they should have some vegan menu items because the receipt made it look all nickle and dimed. What I described above was 9 line items. The waitress didn't say the price and I didn't ask but I didn't think fruits and veggies would almost double the price and still leave us hungry. Perhaps I would've been less critical of the price if I knew what to expect up front, but being surprised at the end ruined the experience for me.

I'll still probably be back because they do know how to make hashbrown very well, but that is all I'm ordering.

I think non vegans would enjoy the traditional American cuisine here and the menu is transparent for the average person.

Food was pretty good and pretty reasonably priced! Nice atmosphere and very clean! Service was impeccable! Was a little confused about why we were seated by the door when it was cold outside and there was plenty of other seating! I kind of wondered if maybe it was because I have long hair, especially when another family came in with kids and everything and the father also had long hair and they sat him next to the door on the other side!

Excellent service and good fresh food.

Excellent friendly service and delicious food. We had eggs Benedict and the over easy was perfect. And in the Ricks special, the potatoes were NOT deep fried. They were reds done on the flat top. So tasty. They do breakfast right. Also the pancakes were good and fluffy.

Worst experience ever waitress was rude, did not have the time if day for us. Salad was brown and wilted, roast beef and gravy tasted fake. And here they have a sign on the door about respect and patience. Never even asked us how we liked the meal, slapped the bill on the table and left.

We kind of found this place by accident and it was a pleasant surprise the food was good the prices were reasonable it took a little while longer then I would like but they were quick to apologize. It was a little bit cold inside other than that not bad.
