My first time in Sandpoint Idaho and my husband and I stopped for brunch. It was a pleasant surprise to see we could order breakfast all day.
Also a treat to see vegetarian selections.
The restaurant was frequented by customers who come in regularly, very clean establishment with so much history. The staff gave us excellent service.
The only downfall was most customers wanted a slice of pie and were told there were only 2 pieces left.

I had the Santa Fe Chicken Salad with the Asian dressing and it was fantastic. Very nice mix of flavors. My friend had the past and prawns. He was blown away. The place had a very nice vibe. A bit nastalgic. We both had a Bloody Mary and it could have been better. That was about the only downside.

Very GOOD Food! I had the Chili Omelette with "Home Fries" and Pancakes and it was ALL Fantastic. My wife's 3 Meat Omelette was delish!
The B51 Coffees were also great!
Affordable process as well....

I'm so glad we stopped here for breakfast the day after my anniversary. The place looked clean and had a good down-home vibe. Our server, Heather, was just the best. She was super nice, friendly, and a total professional. Food was on point, and the price for the meals was budget friendly. It's a worth while stop for some chow.

Awesome place to grab a burger and fries. Impressed with the cleanliness of this place. Can't wait for the outdoor seating area to open up. Perfect place to grab lunch after visiting the farmers market. Thick slabs of bacon on your burger or BLT.

I had a very nice beef stroganoff there that was flavorful and plentiful. Service from Anna was outstanding and friendly. The prices here are very reasonable and the house cabernet was a great deal with a generous pour. This is not the most hip restaurant in town, but it does have historical significance. There was no wait to be seated, and we were served promptly.

DOWNHILL SLIDE! We have been going to Connie's for over twenty-five years. Always loved the vibe and the food,,,until our last visit. We stopped for their amazing Bread Pudding which they no longer serve, so we opted for a piece of their previously great pie. I ordered Peanut Butter and my wife chose Chocolate. Both pieces of pie were incredibly thin in thickness. Neither looked very appetizing. As for the crust, it was literally like shoe leather on both pieces. It was almost comical to try to cut through it with a fork. It was physically impossible. We had never encountered anything like it. Flaky and buttery it was definitely not. All you could do was scrape the gooey mass of filling off the crust in order to eat it. The goo was not very good either. The kicker was that when I brought all this up to our server she told us there was a new baker who insisted on tanking all of Connie's Recipes and using her own. Many customers had complained about the pies and the Manager seemed to not want to take any action to correct things. Then as though the horrible pie was not enough as we were leaving a lady sitting by the door had her dog up on the table and was feeding it. The other server had just left that table so was aware of that disgusting, unsanitary condition. Not sure we will ever visit Connie's again.

I’ve been going to Connie’s since I was a little kid, when Connie owned it and later the Browns owned it. I would eat breakfast, have them pack me a lunch and be back for dinner every day when I lived by myself. Always my favorite and go to spot until our last visit. Started with two waitresses arguing at our table about who’s section we were in?!
Food came. Mine was fine. The wife’s chicken fried steak was raw, hash browns frozen, scrambled eggs were like soup. I couldn’t believe it. I told her I was sending it back, but she refused and was so disappointed and annoyed we paid the bill and left, never to return!!! Fifty plus year customer gone!!!!!
