Love this place! Is a must visit every time we visit Sand Point. My husband always gets the chicken fried steak. All serving sizes are huge. Come hungry, leave happy.

Great little cafe , with the largest breakfast helpings we have ever seen! You will not go away hungry. Kimberly and her staff were of the best servers anywhere. We had breakfast 2 days in a row - having biscuits and gravy- green eggs and ham(don't let that scare you- green for spinach and avocado) , pancakes the full size of the plate, and the biggest breakfast burrito. Everything was in our records Delicious!

My wife and I drive an hour to come to this place on a fairly regular basis. Absolutely our favorite breakfast spot. Great home style food, lovely staff, and a fun atmosphere.

The most all American diner, portions huge, pretty much the same since '79. Awesome!

Cute place people were nice. Biscuits and gravy were good but wayyyy too much pepper in the gravy. Basically killed it for me. I’ll update my review if it changes next time

Quaint little breakfast nook tucked away on the side of the highway. Great portions friendly service. Worth every penny and not even that expensive. The denver omelette was on point! If you're in the Sandpoint region and looking for a great deal and fantastic food. This is your spot!

I've eaten here for 20 years. It's always been good, portions used to be bigger but who wants to get fat? The biscuits and gravy used to be the best, last time I had them it was too peppery. But I'm going back for more.

I love the Hoot Owl. Huge servings!!! Where else in this town can you breakfast your way to coronary artery disease and a quadruple by-pass in such comfort. They don't call it the "silent killer" for nothing!!!! Sit back relax and enjoy! We all die eventually, right!

Great local family business.
