The wife says “This is the best Cobb salad I have ever had". I had the chief salad that was very tasty. Not a complaint was uttered. I definitely would recommend. We will be back to try more of the menu. Great service and value. Good size portions.

The service was excellent. Our server offered suggestions, and we took them.
The cheeseburger was the best burger that I have had, in quite some time. The meat was juicy, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Served with batteries fries...
We also had the French dip sandwich, with onion rings. My husband stated that it was "really good". That means he loved it.
Upon arrival, the place looks a little aged and could use a bit of a face lift.
This restaurant used to be a Sambo's (oh how my memories wander back to my childhood, mentioning that) and then Oliver's has been there for 37 yrs.
One side of the restaurant is sit down (white table clothes) and the other side is booths and counter seating.

Whatever they are doing...keep it up! I highly recommend Oliver's!

Oliver's is within walking distance of The Black Swan Inn where we stayed for our anniversary. Oliver's is a quaint diner style café with the menu items you'd expect from this sort of restaurant. What stands out is the quality of said food. Both our orders were absolutely delicious, although simple. The server was so very friendly, honest and respectful. We sat in the diner style booth section but they do have another classy side that has a whole different style. We were very happy with the whole experience.

I was highly disappointed with the food quality. I won’t be back! The only thing I could say is the Waitress named Stormy was kind and polite. To start we ordered a breakfast sandwich (see photo) that was dry and small for the price. I did like the hash browns and bacon. Those were the best parts of everything in the photos. I don’t recommend the pancakes, they were dry and tasteless, not impressed. Overall not a good value for the money! To say the least I wasn’t impressed and the only reason we came here was that “Jumbos” was closed for the day, that was our first choice, something about the grease trap was being serviced and “Abracadabras” was closed due to working on the roof, that was our second choice. It was our third choice that’s how we ended up there. We were desperate. We tried it a couple of years ago and since it was our last resort we decided to try it again, and that was our mistake.

I ordered the liver and grilled onions with a baked 🥔 and green beans with a beer.🍺. My liver and onions was a little dry but still good, the grilled onions were the best. They need to add more so if you order this dish, ask for extra grilled onions.I know not ev1 likes liver, but sometimes I get a hankering for it (especially if my iron level is low)about every 6 months.😂The green beans were fresh and I ate the whole baked potato 🥔 skin and all! They only have Budweiser and Bud Light in a bottle.🍺 Not my favorite place but I would still say you should try it for yourself. I am just visiting from Florida and trying local eateries. Seemed like locals frequent this establishment. Friendly people. 🙃

Wow! What a treat! Delicious, hearty, homemade food, excellent service, dinner for two only $28 with the Veteran discount! So impressed! Ordered tea and they knew how to serve a tea: two bags, honey, lemon, additional carafe for second cup.

Incredible food and service. I had the steak breakfast and it was perfect. The sourdough bread could be a bit better, but other than that, I love this place.

Wonderful homemade meals. Husband had Seniors Hot Turkey with mashed and Harvey , came with Green Pepper Soup. I had Pastrami Sandwich and onion rings. Excellent. Great fast service and waitress very pleasant. Busy with what looked like locals.

Looking for a great place to eat, with an authentic 50's diner? Then you might enjoy this place. Many options to choose from. I've been looking for a real diner experience for many years. Oliver's does not disappoint. Freshly made American meals that you would eat at home. Wheat, Honey Parker rolls served with every meal. Prices are reasonable. Serving sizes are on point. Service was friendly and efficient. My only disappointment was menu and prices online have not been updated.
