Irish Spike's Unique Hot Sauces
We have lived all over the country and have always been cafe people, and Cafe Artista is our all-time favorite cafe. The staff are the best! I can ALWAYS count on a great cup of my favorite (Kamiak) coffee and the ambiance is relaxing and fun! Can't beat it anywhere!

My partner and I love the chai here. It's one of the best, quietest places in Moscow to enjoy a drink (and/or a pastry) and have a conversation.

The baked goods are actually really good. Flavored lattes are sometimes inconsistent but this place is less busy and a little more inviting I think than others cafes in the area.

Such a cute space, great coffee, and friendly people. I enjoy having little coffee dates with friends here since they have lots of comfy seating.

One of my top favorite places in the area. Excellent food, beverages, and services! I also love that they are dedicated to ethically sourcing their products and supporting local businesses! We need more establishments like this one!

I stop here EVERY TIME I am in Moscow. The coffee is absolutely delicious and so are all the treats. I love seeing different art on the walls during every visit. The employees are ALWAYS very sweet and the atmosphere is always welcoming. I love it! :)

Great coffee, friendly and helpful staff. One of my favorite places to schedule meetings. The meeting room is easy to reserve for a private meeting of up to 10 or so. But also just as easy to take advantage of the variety of tables and couches

They put so much effort into what they do! They have excellent morals and are some of the most genuinely kind people I've met in Moscow. Their tea sets have always delighted me, and they have 8oz cup options (which I didn't expect to like but now am crazy about)! I've noticed their coffee is a bit on the expensive side, but it tastes so good. I really feel like I get what I pay for when I come here. I tip now too, funny that I never used to tip batistas, but they work so hard!

Through the pandemic it’s been great to order ahead and do a pick up of their delicious coffee! Their beans are also from a local roaster, Kamiak! The addition of their order window has allowed me to not enter a business when full but still receive a great cup o’Joe! Thanks!!

I remember when this location was Sister's Brew and it was hands down the best coffee place in town. I could spend hours there and always felt welcome. The atmosphere has completely changed and over the last year I have gone to Cafe Artista on several occasions hoping this visit would be better than the last. Unfortunately I have yet to be impressed.
As far as selection goes, this place has an AMAZING selection of food and drink. However, where their selection is vast the prices are beyond steep and the quality is hit or miss. I understand that local businesses have higher costs than chains but when the cost for a dirty chai is over a dollar more expensive than any of the surrounding coffee shops, something is wrong. I bought two coffees last week and it was $12.00 before tip. Even Starbucks is not that expensive.
I think the real killer for me though is the service. I have never had a good experience as far as customer service at this location. Some of the baristas are shy and that's not a problem, but on numerous occasions I've come in to two baristas gossiping and have had to wait several seconds at the counter just for them to find a break in their conversation to order. No hello, no thank you, no cordial conversation, nothing and before I even finish paying they go back to gossiping over other co-workers or classmates where customers can hear. I have even had my workplace ridiculed to my face before they realized I worked there. I only even go to this location because I have a friend who has thankfully had better experiences than I have, and I like to treat her to coffee every now and then.
There are some positives, past the customer service and how expensive it is, the atmosphere is nice and calm. This is a good place to study or just to relax and sip on a cup of joe. I love the featured artwork and crafts from local artists and craftsman. The meeting room is also a wonderful perk for professionals in the area and is easy to reserve. I wont give it a one star because I know others who have had better experiences, I do hope that the owner and management will take what I've said into account though for the future.
