Great food. Small town service.

Very polite waitress, took our order and had everything we asked for with our meal. The portions were over abundant on mine : Tons of Tatar Tots & Finger Steaks(Over cooked: felt like I was chewing on jerky). But my husband's was kinda skimpy: 6 average sized opinion rings and 3 good sized chicken strips. (Posting pic.) It's was a bit chilly inside the Cafe and my husband felt as though he was freezing. The hard widen benches were pretty cold. Otherwise it was clean and kinda homey.

Wanted a chicken fried steak dinner. But what I got was unrecognizable. First came with no gravy, sent it back. Then got it with gravy but meat was cold. Had to fight the flies for a bite. Nope, I like to help local businesses but not here, not again. This was at dinnertime on a Saturday evening.

Exactly what you expect of a traditional small town cafe: good comfort food (limited menu) and nothing fancy.
Highly recommend.

Very smoky inside restaurant. Server was not very motivated to assist patrons.

Large portions, very tasty comfort food. Friendly staff, quick service.
Rustic interior with history.

Horrible. Walked in and no greeting, smile or anything. Customers don't mind their business. And are quite demanding. Place looked extremely run down. Smelled musty!!! The first 5 seconds a customer has walked in they should either be greeted with a hello or acknowledged in order to really make a good impression on customer. Owner doesn't care.

Quality of food was good, service was excellent. We ate lunch there on the way to McCall and decided to stop on our way home for dinner, glad we did

We waited approximately 25 minutes before we were even asked what wanted to drink. It took another 10 minutes for the waitress to bring us our drinks. We then finally got to order our food. By that time two groups of people came and left without being helped. (The two groups both waited 15 plus minutes without any type of service) After another good 15 minute wait we got our food. First thought was the burger looked nasty. Almost a gray color, & they tasted horrible. & then I noticed three different strands of hair in my burger. I politely told the owner and she kinda sighed and took it to the kitchen where she told the person cooking and he kept asking her why. We used to stop to eat there often & will not be going back again.
