i went here for the first time this week to study for a few hours with a friend, and i'm in love with the environment! there is a nice ambience, it's well lit with windows, has a nice touch of decor with woodsy furniture and succulent plants on the table. very rustic, and definitely hipster. the coffee is really good too, beautiful latte art and killer prices. will be back lots for serious study time!!

Stunning location. You'll want to just sit in there for hours, no pressure to leave. We've met with clients at this location and all we're happy. The coffee itself is high end and treated well to really keep its flavor.
Customer service is excellent! You'll be glad you came in and it will only add to your day. The list goes on and on and includes their menu as well! Try one of everything!

I love love love this place! The baristas really put forth effort into their shots, and make sure they get them right. I used to volunteer here, and it was just so fun. Everyone is always friendly, and the atmosphere is great for meet-ups, studying, or just hanging out alone with a good book. Try a soy chai with a pump of lavender!

The District is a cozy retreat from Boise's occasional blustery day. The open, minimalist aesthetic is incredible and the chai is even better. Newly remodeled, the shop now serves different breakfast plates and pastries. A great place to grab a drink and stay warm this winter.

Unfortunately reducing 5 star to 3 after new owners (Form and Function)
The District was the best shop in town but has lost its heart and spark that made it so special. Form and Function have a great shop in southern downtown but this location is not as modern and seems uncertain of its direction.
The coffee is still good, but no longer a place to go out of the way to visit.
I hope they either embrace what made the District special or remodel and fully convert to 'Form and Function North.'

My first visit to the District Coffee House was to meet a friend to chat about work opportunities. It is not a large location, but there was enough space to feel comfortable talking about confidential items without having to whisper. I don't drink a lot of coffee, but they had other options available. It is pretty conveniently located near the Cradlepoint offices, so you see a lot of those employees there.

Unfriendly and pretentious…C’mon,
You work at a coffee shop.🙄

Great coffee, great location, great atmosphere. I have spent many good hours studying there. Knowledgeable and friendly baristas. The large lobby is often packed, so can be hard to find a table, which is a testament to how well-liked it is.

If you work on the west side of downtown, this is pretty much the spot to be. Lots of folks working and meeting - good spot to have a business meet-up or just get a good cup of coffee.
You have to try the Nitro Cold Brew for the summertime when it's hot out. A little pricier, but super chill.

Easily my favorite coffee shop in Boise. Open and bright, always has great service and cheap prices. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to get some work done or just catch up with a friend.
