Great coffee place! Wonderful people, chill and clean decor, with an artistic flash, and really spacious! I got a cappuccino, and I have to say, it was the best one I had in Boise. Their beans are also roasted here in Boise, and it showed! 10/10 cappuccino, not bitter at all, beautifully well rounded flavor, and the flavor of the coffee was not hurt by the addition of the milk at all! Well done Form & Function! Also went to the botanical gardens and tried the cold brew from the F&F bus! So cool!

Ordered a cappuccino and a pour over to go.
Both were absolutely wonderful and I was delightfully surprised that cappuccino had a little coffee art on top! Most places wouldn't take the time on a to go order. The cappuccino was one of the best I ever had and can't wait to go back.
Loved the vibe of this coffee place.
Clean, modern, and brightly lit areas with lots of places to sit.

TLDR: good coffee. Nothing to write home about.
I took a small group of college students in here and we were all satisfied. It was an average cappuccino, and all the other drinks seemed to be enjoyed. Nice small space with a second floor. Some really unique menu items hat I would try if I’m ever back there.

Just moved to town and have been enjoying trying all of the coffee shops, but Form & Function just moved to the top of my favorites. Light, clean workspace, lots of seating, great customer service. Love the upstairs workspace. Great music - love Frank Ocean.
Only qualm is that alternative milk is an additional fee.

I had the cappuccino. No big or small sizes to select for your coffee. Just a perfect taste of coffee with nice foam decor on top. Good place to study and calm your mind as well. They have two floors that provides more seating areas.

So much potential. But falling so far. We got the breakfast sandwich and the almond croissant. The breakfast sandwich was extremely hit and miss, the combination of fig with bacon and egg was amazing, but the fact that it looked like they gave half an egg in this sandwich made finding bits of egg a real challenge. Then there was the seasoning, when you got some it was rock salt which is a bit much to have in bites of a small sandwich. Then the croissant had a very nice almond spread but was encased in what seemed like a week old shell, almost chipped a tooth.

The modern east side of Boise.
No surprise to see new shops pop up in the latest real estate developments that's been exciting people, as the city's Central Addition Master Plan gains momentum.
Located on the first floor of the fancy Fowler building, Form & Function takes advantage of the modern architecture and the wide sidewalks that serve nearby Boise Brewing so well. Fresh designs like the loft support the vibe and provide space for patrons to bring their laptops.
Coffee is solid, staff friendly, pastries are fresh. Hold your next city council meeting here.
Another visit, pastries not so fresh this time. Fix it, please.

Had the all day breakfast sandwich. Goat cheese really makes it and I’m not usually a fan of goat cheese.
Cold brew was solid. Wish I got more of it for $5, but hey that’s show (coffee) business.
Lots of seating indoors and out. They have an upstairs which I didn’t notice when I first walked in.
Wifi is easy to access. Parking can be a bit troublesome, but if you’re willing to pay $3 there’s plenty of metered parking nearby.

Had to write a review just to show off this cute little pumpkin! I ordered the “sidecar” and it was very tasty coffee. Lots of seating too.

Coffee, wifi and yummy quick bite breakfast — such a good spot to chill after a long bike ride on the green belt. They only roast beans on certain days so were out of coffee to purchase when we went on a weekday.
