Maui Coffee Attic

The BEST coffee shop in Hawaiʻi. Well, according to Hawaiʻi Magazine, Maui Coffee Attic is the best coffee shop in Hawaiʻi. I agree. Iʻm a regular here. They have amazing breakfast burritos, avocado toasts, coffee cakes, lilikoʻi bars, homemade cookies, cinnamon churro crossoints. And they have the BEST coffee like Aloha Mocha and Cold Brew. Their ice is coffee cubes. Isnʻt that amazing? The Baker and co-owner makes the BEST homemade cookies and MOCHI in Hawaiʻi. This is a family owned and operated. They have LIVE music every week and almost every day and host concerts. I love this place so much. Itʻs like Sedona or San Fran hole in the wall coffee shop with Aloha flair! I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! You must visit if youʻre a local or visiting the Islands.

Coffee and vibe was great but the guy at the counter needs to keep comments to himself. Saying my daughter has a Boy's name but he has a girl bracelet on. It's okay to be nice to kids by just saying hi. No need to go back here again. Kraken coffee better anyway.

Cute spot. Nice array of juices, smoothies, coffee, pastries and sandwiches. They even have a couple gluten free options and a few sugar free sodas. Great customer service. Merch we bought: broke same day though, darn!

Great place to come and hang out. Coffee is good (dark roast was what we tried). The bagel bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich was hot. Portion was good and very filling. The avocado toast sandwich was the best sandwich we have had on the island. Both sandwiches were ordered with bacon and there was plenty of it. Being from California, avocados are plentiful year round and taste great. I was glad the sandwich was topped off with avocado. My sister had to share because the sandwich was large. Atmosphere is so laid back. At times it was difficult to know who worked here vs whose a customer. Employees did however clean and serve customers as needed. Musicians welcome home! This place is inspiring to talented people. My sister played the piano on the lower level dining/stage area and was also invited to play the Ukuleles. To bad she doesn't know how.

I enjoyed the coffee and the food - even the eclectic nature of the decor. Unfortunately there’s no excuse in my opinion for a dirty location.
There’s a lot of space and comfortable chairs but you don’t want to look at the walls or the floor while you’re there if you want to settle in and feel fully comfortable.

I’m glad it’s popular! I would actually frequent this location if they’d run a vacuum once a day.

A very unique place. I really the idea of decorating the coffee house in form of a living room. It's a nice place to relax and have a comfortable conversation with your friends over coffee. I would definitely recommend to try out this place. The walls is decorated with instruments and various posters. Even the coffee tasted good.

What an awesome experience. The cold brew was really good flavor plus they put coffee ice cubes in it! The bagel sandwiches were also great quality and homemade. Highly recommend!

This place is awesome, love the layout and ambience! Owners/employees were extremely nice and welcoming and made me feel like family as soon as I walked through the door. I am drinking the most delicious sea salt caramel cold brew - best cold brew I’ve ever had. I will try to go back for at least another drink and a pastry before I leave Maui in a day or two, it is that good!

Really cute! Had free cucumbers bc they had too many. Coffee was great!

I visited Coffee Attic for the first time today and loved it! The staff was so personable, welcoming, and attentive. I got the iced matcha tea latte with a bagel, and it was delicious. I can’t wait to come back here!
