Lappert's Hawaii

Are you a connoisseur of ice cream or just love ice cream. Then this is a must have place to visit! It's a small store with a great friendly staff. No seating available inside. No problem, you'd be happy indulging standing in an alleyway. I've traveled the world. Had the best, so I thought. Until you've had Lappert's you've only been satisfied. Treat yourself to a memorable sensation. It's not in the store decore, packaging, ads that will do it. It's the ultra fine product itself that makes this the finest ice cream available.

Cashier was the bomb-social skills on point, but ice cream was soft(Nēnē) and the chocolate covered parts of the waffle cone were frozen and I got scared for my teeth lol bfr. Very clean store.

Great ice cream but the server was so unpleasant it ruined the experience. (Worth the drive down the hill to Pink’s where they are super nice!)

The lava tube is amazing! I have to take away one star due to the unhappy native woman who takes away from the experience. She actually left out the macadamia nut ice cream out of my lave tube. It's supposed to be happy times getting ice cream on an island on a hot day. She would not smile at kids and was very short with everyone in line. Just strictly give me the money, here's your ice cream, now leave. If it wasn't for her this place would be a 5 star establishment.

Never miss a chance to stop here. COVID protocols only allow for one party inside at a time (max four people, but we were five). Always feel family when they chat with me.

Nothing like the ice cream I had at their Poipu Beach location two days ago. Half a scoop and the ice cream was melted. Total let down. Thought I was going to get the same amazing ice cream and scoop size as the first location I experienced

I visited on 6/16 and the employee was extremely rude. Since I was wearing a mask, she didn’t hear what I asked her and when I repeated the drink, she yelled at me and told me there were one, two, three and four things on the menu. In addition, she whispered something under her breath as I left. Although she was rude, I was very polite. Very disappointing.

We visited on 7 September after lunch and the lady working behind the counter was extremely rude and yelled at customers for not reading a hard to read sign with very small letters. We left and did not return after being yelled at ourselves. After reading other reviews, we are not alone in this experience.

MULTIPLE times I have ordered an ice cream cone and asked to not have a spoon, and still got a spoon shoved in my ice cream cone. The employees are on automatic and its wasteful! This plastic isn't getting recycled and will still be around long after we are all gone. Please stop giving plastic spoons to people eating ice cream out of a cone. I don't know of anyone who needs a spoon when eating ice cream out of a cone. For the people who would like a spoon while eating an ice cream cone, they can ask for it. Mahalo!
